Worked like a charm. I cleared the airbox slot thats blocked. Opened up the exhaust pipe from the restriction. And did this ... gained 7 mph for zero dollars
I went to 3.5g vs the slow 9g rollers I had..... idk if it's a solid one fits all suggestion because it depends on climate and altitude that will affect the tune.

I did this to my 2000 back in '02. It is not necessary to remove the kick start lever to remove the case cover.
My Honda tact stops when I hit 50 on speedo is it because of this?
How fast does a stock restricted Elite 50 go? i could only get between 15 mph and 20 mph

Yes did the restricted stock take that back plate off but with an aftermarket variator you will gain three to five miles an hour
