Boeing 737: Brake unit replacement

  • Hello! How is everybody doing? Welcome back to another video of NextGenerationMechanic. Today I will show you how a brake unit is replaced on a Boeing 737NG aircraft. As far as I know the process on a B737, B767 and B787 is the same. There are ofcourse minor deviations in procedures but overall the same.

    What is the torque for tightening the main wheelnut In Nm?

      Converted that should be around 700Nm

      Any idea where I could find that quick disconnect adapter that connects to brakes fitting hydraulic inlet fitting ?

      It’s not part of the brake assemblies component maintenance manual

      I know what you mean. Our brakes always come with the adapter pre-installed but we had some that didn't. Did you try the IPC already? I don't know the part number, and don't have access to the manuals currently. Im sorry!
