    No memory settings for the batteries? I was impressed until I noticed the lack of battery memory setting. My Hyperion has 20 config slots per side.

    In country where I live Nigeria, there will be surely power failure. So in that case where I am using AC to DC input for this charge and I am charging and input power goes off while charging and it comes back where charging. Does this mean my charge will damage because it then means I plugged battery to be charged before powering charger?

      @Painless360  5 лет назад

      That's probably a question for hobbyking support as I no longer have the unit to test. I'd imagine that the charger wouldn't power back on and start charging again agter a power failure without manual intervention.. best of luck !

    Hi! Have you got a external discharge type on the menu? Today i bought smaller model of this charger(300W 20A) and can`t find this type of discharge. On the hobbiking site i find this information on product specification page "Maximum extern discharge power capacity: 500W @ 25V/20A" but in real i have only 30W. I try to connect external resistance on positive wire(like in older models manual) but device cant discharge more than 30W.

      +deimufa2 it does on this one, I'd contact the HK support team. Best of luck!

    How do you calibrate this thing???

    in my opinion THE BIG DRAWBACK of this charger is that when 1 of them broke or 2 of them broke you have to carry the whole thig with you
    i`ve prefer 4 separate units only for that reason

    You can get almost 3 isdt 1000w chargers for the price of that.

    So this just looks like four chargers in the same box (based on the separate settings for each channel), why would someone use a four-in-one vs four separate chargers?

    • @DarkR3ignlol
      @DarkR3ignlol 7 лет назад +1

      smaller formfactor, just 1 inputwire. With 4 charges things start to get messy

    • @benk7032
      @benk7032 7 лет назад

      A fair point, it would be cleaner out of the box but I can't help the feeling that it's a "lazy" solution (i.e. lets glue four separate chargers together).

      I race 2-4 car classes in a race day plus my son races with me as well. Not having a huge pile of wires is very nice. For my quads and planes it has the amps to parallel charge enough packs for a whole weekend in one shot.

      I dig my hitec x4 plus I fly different battery cells. from 2 to 5s I can charge mainly all my 3s and 4s even my field 10000 6s battery at the same time. paired with parallel boards. plug all batteries in and begin charging. reduces having to always change from charging only 2 s then 3s then all 4sto 6 s and always changing the settings. for separate ports built in converter for me is a must.

    This charger does not do it all. I spent close to $500 on this charger and power supply, and this charger doesnt even read battery capacity.... thats something $30 chargers can do... i needed that info to know the health of the nimh battery packs.

    Never buy reactor - me and my friend get two from hobbyking - both defective.

      I've been rocking the single version for about 1.5years. No issues, I got it right before isdt showed up with their chargers. No justification to replace yet.

    • @lachezarkrastev7123
      @lachezarkrastev7123 7 лет назад

      It was some hobbyking flash sale so I suppose they are selling the returned defective items. 2 bad from 2 can not be just a coincidence.

      Agree. I just bought their 120 Duo and absolutely regretted it because I chose it over another brand. Totally DEAD / defective.These chargers are JUNK. Don't waste your time and money on them.

    No AC input, no LiHv and no balance board/extensions. No deal.

    • @Sketchy_FPV
      @Sketchy_FPV 7 лет назад

      You don't get this type of chargers with in-built power supply, certainly not for that price! Lack of LiHV is def disappointing as very little accessories as well

    • @rcwck
      @rcwck 7 лет назад

      You can't get 300watts/channel but 100W/channel and LiHv charging for $50 less is available.

    • @Sketchy_FPV
      @Sketchy_FPV 7 лет назад

      rcwck well, we are taliking about 4 output charger right? Don't get me wrong - I personally don't like this charger, but u just cannot get such charger with a 1200W inbuilt PSU, not for 200$. So ur complaint about this charger not having it just laughable

    • @SighKick
      @SighKick 7 лет назад

      We don't hear much about LiHV batteries these days. Initial hype around three years ago, special chargers required and now almost nothing. What gives? Are they all hype and no substance?

    • @hansturpyn5455
      @hansturpyn5455 7 лет назад

      you are better with a good C-rated lipo than a LIHV
