I played ludwig marching drums from 1975 to 1983 im happy just to see the name & the return of the drums, ludwig drums used by a kick ass drum line.

I’m a total Pearl guy, but it’s great to see Ludwig badges on those drums. And the tuning is outstanding.

Sadly, they switched to Tama because the Ludwig drums fell apart really easily ☹️

@@micah_drums Well, that's disappointing to read. Not that Tama doesn't make outstanding stuff, because they do, but it seems Ludwig has become pretty hit-or-miss with a lot of things, despite their drums commanding DW prices. It was telling when Vinnie went back to Gretsch after getting stiffed on corporate support one too many times. I guess I'll just stick with Pearl and be happy. 😂

They recently revamped their whole marching line, within the past 8 or so years at least. I’ve heard good things!

Will Cochran shells having sharp bearing edges that pierce heads, as well as shells having severe cracks in them, lugs snapping frequently and getting stuck in the casings, warping rims among other issues
