i know i’m late but if you make your necklace too short you can always add a few more jump rings to the end and clasp your necklace to the furthest jump ring! it worked great for me!
i love how this came out!! also i find it easier to tie the clasp or jump ring on first while there is no hesitation of accidentally dropping the beads. :)
and also securing the knots with nail glue or any strong clear glue

Well you can use crimp beads with elastic so the jewelry is extra secure and looks more professional for the crimp beads there are yt vids on how to use them and you can use a crimp tool which are quite expensive so you can also use flat pliers and squish the bead super hard so its nice and flat and secure if you want to go all out you can buy crimp bead covers which cover the crimp bead and is the hollow on the inside and what is a crimp bead it's like the knot on the end but much better the crimp bead leaves your jewelry safe of the knot un-tieing but there is no knot with the crimp bead so if you can get crimp beads and pliers get them

With Stretchy string you don't need the claps you can just knock them really good.

Having trouble trying to tie my jump ring onto my bracelet without it falling over my beads or over the knot, not sure how you did this??

Hi, I am not sure if you already figured out but it's better to use thin paracord or polyster cable for the phone strap because it's a lot stronger. I used a similar yarn to yours for my first phone chain and it broke after a while and I dropped my phone 😅
(Yk just in case you're one of the people who actually depend on their phone strap in oder to not constantly drop their phone, ik I am 😂)

hii ! so if you mean tying the string onto the lobster clasp and jump ring, I just put the string through the holes and tied a knot on them! I hope that’s what you meant and I actually answered your question 😫😂🤍
