Hello everyone! Here's yet another wire jewelry video that I actually filmed before moving somewhere for the summer and then finished editing just now lol (I have no idea how I'm going to survive college with this work ethic rip). It includes a whole bunch of bracelet, necklace, and chain ideas! Hope you guys enjoy! Also, thank you so much to the 6k people who have joined me since my last video - I still can't believe that this many people want to listen to my annoying voice, but here we are :) Thank you guys for sticking around!

Hello everyone! I just made an Etsy where you can buy the stuff I make :) It’s madebymayajewelry!
I don’t have everything I make listed on there yet, but if you have a request for something I made in this video that I’m not selling, reply to this comment. Thank you so much for watching!
hey do you see the exact one at 0:48 are you selling it on etsy?
@@gaindefatmand I unfortunately don’t have that one on my etsy! I haven’t figured out how to make the flowers strong enough to sell, but I definitely have similar items on there!
@@itsawildmaya thank you i will check the etsy then have a good one
P
Can we make money by doing this
Gurl, don't be shy drop us a tutorial for the rings you're wearing bc they are hella cute ❤
I second that!
I third that!
I agreee
Yess
I know right?
I’m absolutely BEGGING you to make a tutorial for the wire ring in your ring video that was in the thumbnail! (Looks like the chunky ring but with wire embellishment)
you're back!! can't wait to attemp these designs, they are so elegant and pretty
Haha thank you! I’m very glad to be back :)
Girllll I check back every day to see if you’ll upload the wire rings tutorial those things look awesomeeeeeeee 😩😩😩
Hahaha hopefully it will be out semi-soon! I'm going to try and film it before I leave for college because otherwise I'll never get my filming set-up ready in my dorm :)
You can use a small crimp bead or even a small seed bead at the end of the string inside of the clam shells instead of knots. It makes it more sturdy and easier to finish off. Just a suggestion, and saves time too.
Oooh thank you for the suggestion! I have crimp beads, but I don't think I've even tried that - I'll try it out!
Those are pretty much standard designs that been around for a while and are simple and beautiful. You did a great job making the pieces. I have a taste for ancient jewelry from around the world. Nice video
Thank you so much!
The things you make are stunning, your style and editing are so relaxing to watch.
You’re probably my fav diy channel ♥️🍄
Awwww thank you! This is such a sweet comment :)

Hehe thank youuu :)
They are so cuteee!!!! ❤ btw 2:26 they are called "bead tips" or "clamshell calottes" ❤
Ahh thank you so much!!
You have amazing ideas & this is an awesome video!!!! You explained things so well...!!! 😀💕
Thank you! I’m glad my explanations were understandable:)
Sen mükemmelsin çok güzel şeyler öğrendim ❤️
Wow beautiful
I love your jewelry making video s
Instead of tieing many knots you can put a tiny bead and make a bubble knot. To be extra sure before closing the clam add a bit of super glue and it's not going anywhere. Btw you are doing a great job and I really like your videos!
Just a helper here if you want the wire to not break or be flimsy you can use a 20 gauge would be a more sturdy wire for all hooks and fasteners and better to keep closed and you can work harden it with a block and hammer ,, love the video. Great that you are loving jewelry like I do ♥♥♥♥🌈🌈🌈🌈
Thank you for the suggestion! I’m actually thinking about getting 20 gauge wire and doing that with it - so far I’ve only ever worked with 18 and 22 gauge, but nothing in between.
I'm poor and sick so I thought I shall give it try to use my creativity to hopefully make money. Love this video ❤ thanks
Lovely dainty jewelry your very talented..😊❤
Thank you very much!
such a gorgeous Video
Thank you!
You may use a binder clip to use temporarily so your beads don’t slide off while you’re stringing them on, so u don’t have to use more string to make knots :)
That’s a good idea! Thank you for watching :)
I really enjoyed watching your tutorial!
Keep up the excellent work!
I'm looking forward to another awesome video!
Take care and stay in touch! 🦋🙏🦋
I’m glad you enjoyed! Thank you for watching :)
Looked through your channel and couldn’t find a tutorial for the ring you are wearing on your right hand if you could please make one it would be greatly appreciated 🤍 thank you for sharing all your diys so far 🥰
For the larger link chain, to make it more stable could u simply use a thicker wire? Like 18 gauge?
i loved your video thank youuu
Thank you for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed :)
You are amazing . Thank you so much ❤❤❤
Thank you for watching!
omg ur so talented thx for the tutorial! all ur jewelry is so pretty pls drop tutorail for the rings :)
Some of the tutorials should already by on my channel but I’m filming more :)
@@itsawildmaya Thank you!
Ok girl, those rings? We need a tutorial pleaaaase! I loved this video.
Yeeeeeee hopefully soon 👀
Your ring was super
Thank youuuuuuu
I like your videos so much❤️
Aww thank you for watching!
thank you for making this not seem impossible
I'm glad I could help :)
Your videos are always awesome 💕Can somebody please tell me where can i find good quality wires for jewellery making in India
I would love to know about how long these pieces stay gold for before tarnishing. Or if you use anything to coat your jewelry? I’ve made jewelry over the years and noticed the gold color eventually rubs off. Love your work 🥰
Some of the pieces I've made with this wire have not tarnished yet, and it's been a couple years of wear (not everyday, though)! I will say, I think this wire has recently changed because it's slightly redder in color now, so I'm not sure if that still stands. With the silver-plated gold wire from Joann Fabrics, I find that it tarnishes after about a year of wear, but I continue to wear them because I still like how they look. Sometimes I will coat my pieces in clear nail polish to make them last slightly longer!
Hi, what wire have u used for heart chain? I mean is it half hard or different one? 😁
thank you so much :)
YOUR SO UNDERRATED YOU DESERVE SO MUCH MORE. YOUR DESIGNS ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING
Ahhhhhh thank you! Unfortunately I don’t sell online yet (currently thinking about setting up an Etsy tho 👀) but I have a jewelry account on Instagram @made.by.maya.co that I will post on once I do start an Etsy!
These designs are so pretty!❤️ I wonder, for the paper clip chain, if the place where both ends of the wire connected was on the longer side of the links, the links wouldn’t be pulling at the weakest point so it might be stronger. Not sure if that was understandably written lol
Ooooh wait I've never thought about that! That's actually a really good idea - I might try it soon :)
ruclips.net/video/unkpUiEkvtM/видео.html
This is the most minimal bracelet which can be worn woh any dress ... literally any dress ❤️
The paperclip necklace. What about putting the hole in the side instead of the end. It must strengthen the necklace?
Yayy more pretty jewelry! I love your jewelry so pretty I’m obsessed I literally said that in all my comments lol love you!😁
Does the wire tarnish and if so can it be cleaned?
Most of the wire I work with eventually tarnishes, although I've been slowly transitioning to using stainless steel silver-colored wire that doesn't tarnish at all in my experience (even in water!). If using precious metal wire (such as sterling silver or solid gold), I'm pretty sure they can be cleaned, but for silver/gold-plated wire, once they tarnish they cannot be cleaned and restored to their previous color. Hope this helps!
Hi! thank you for the video. Is it possible that I use zinc wire?
I’ve never tried using that wire before! As long as it’s safe for your skin and relatively easy to work with, I don’t see why not.
My crimp beads tarnish were can I get some that are tarnish resistant?
I'd recommend either gold/silver plated or gold filled/solid sterling silver crimp beads! I usually find mine on Etsy. Plated things will still tarnish, but will tarnish less than brass components, for example. Gold filled and solid sterling silver components don't tarnish easily! A cheaper alternative for silver jewelry is stainless steel jewelry, so stainless steel crimp beads are a great option and they don't tarnish easily either!
I LOVED everything you made, and idk if I missed it but what wire gauge did you use to make the heart chains bc ik you mentioned the 26 and 22 (and also what brand is the 26)
I used 22 gauge wire for the heart chains! My thinner wire is usually from benecreat, which is a brand sold on Amazon
Bom dia! Parabéns. Eu Amei todos os teus Colares. São Belíssimos. Arrasou 😇 😍 😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Waiting for more amazing videos❤️❤️❤️❤️
Filming more hopefully amazing videos :)
@@itsawildmaya girl u should have more confidence in yourself!! You have almost 10k subscribers and like 4 videos, you’re clearly so great and should give yourself more credit!!💛💛💛💛💛
12:20 i made this and used super glue it has broken a few times but that can probably be blamed on my bad superglue skills lol otherwise its decent
Yeaaaaaah finally another video!
You are so talented! 😘😘😘
Haha thank you! I’m glad to be back :)
Hi, what is the gauge of the wire of the heart shaped link and the wire in which you put pearls?
That wire is 22 gauge! You can definitely go as thick as 18 gauge, although the thicker the wire is the harder it is to manipulate.
I would try making the joint of the paper clip chain on the side, that way the stress isn't on the joint
Yuppp I might try that in a future vid!
I like your ring on your right hand you do have a video on how you made it?
Yup that one is on my list!
Omgehgkjajsn u are close to 10k🤧
Haha yupppp! Very exciting :)
Hi! What was the gauge you used for the heart pearl necklace- 22?
Yup!
❤️❤️
Love it!! Where did you get pearl beads? 😭💗
They're actually from a friend, but you can definitely search up "5 mm plastic pearls" on Amazon and find something similar!
ఎక్కడ తీసుకున్నారు బ్రాస్ వైర్?
hiii, i was wondering if you had any tips for finger care? or if you have any suggestions on gloves? or not to wear gloves?
Hello! I usually don't wear gloves, but my fingers definitely get sore over time. Luckily, I think I've formed calluses, so I think if you don't overwork your fingers but are consistent you will eventually form calluses!
Can u pls make video of those rings that ur wearing in this video. I'm loving them pls 😍
Haha yes! That’s the plan for my next video :)
Ohh! Waiting eagerly for it
hey, can you tell me if the wire measurements you share are using the American Wire Gauge or the Standard Wire Gauge?
I'm using American Wire Gauge!
To make a paper clip chain stronger use half hard wire and hammer the links. Should make it stronger try that and see if that helps I hope it does good luck xx
Thank you for the suggestion! I definitely want to get a proper jewelry hammer to try that technique out!
hello! what would be the size of the pearls you were using in this video :) ?
They are 6mm glass pearls!
you're Amazing Doll
Hi! What size are the pearls for the necklace?
I believe they are 4 mm in diameter!
Hi I’m very knew to jewellery making and I’ve been watching your videos so thankyou but I’m trying to attach a midi collotte to a necklace using elastic wire but every time I try to tie a knot it “unties “. Itself can you please tell how to keep it tied 🥴x
Hello! I don't have that much experience using elastic wire, but I'd say try knotting it several times and see if you can use some type of permanent glue to make sure the knot stays in place. I know some types of thread can also be burned to secure knots, but that depends on what the wire is made out of! Hope this helps :)
Hi quick question where do you get the beads the ones that are mixed together hopefully you know what I mean. (sorry for the bad description).
I think you’re asking about the seed beads I showed in the supply section of the video - if so, I got them off amazon! You can get mixed seed beads from so many places, though - Michaels and Joann also have them.
