14-21 Adverse with free operators only
It's been a long time since the last time i played free operators niche. Actually, its because apparently Theresa/Civilight Eterna isn't considered welfare because she is from the main story.
I already discussed changing the rule with them, something like making her an exception or just adding all main story operators, but I failed.
It's because the welfare definitions for Global and CN are different, so I can't save her for this niche.

The way I see it, if clearing an event like Stultifera Navis to get Lumen or something counts as "Welfare," then clearing a story stage should also constitute "Welfare" since it's like the same thing

As absurd as it may sound that’s exactly what it is. The one 5 star you start off with from the moment you touch the game, the one that the game will give you pots just from progressing through the main story and the one you are even forced to promote to even progress the story (kinda) does not count as welfare. I have no idea why the community thought this kind of criteria made sense…

I think it is ridiculous not to include it since although they give it in the story it is still free since they give it to you for completing certain missions (I don't know how their method of obtaining it works in chapter 14) since if it were for that then they wouldn't be able to be included either. use shalem, dagga and the others since they appear in the story, whether main or in the IS. By definition, a free operator is supposed to be one that they give away or that you don't have to pay to get, teresa meets those conditions since you don't have to pay for it

Cn’s definition initially only allowed time-limited operators, aka “welfares” since events back then were time-limited so it counts
Going into the future however you had permanent events(i.e cc or is) so the welfares that came along with it are permanent as well, but they included them since they are still free event operators
However same logic didn’t apply to story welfares since they aren’t time-limited at all despite debuting with a story chapter release, which is commonly considered an event
Iirc, Theresa’s obtainment window is limited and won’t be available when ch14 release event ends, so she technically counts as a time-limited operator, but not an operator tied to a time-limited event
In the end it all boils down to mindset difference that prevents us from getting story welfares into the niche

​@@Area_GnC no, chapter 14 is special in the sense that it has its own event page instead, to allow incoming/new players early access into the chapter and allow them to obtain Theresa. After the event, anyone who missed the time limited event would have to work their way up to chapter 14 instead to obtain her.
Edit: I previously stated that she would be obtainable upon completing the first stage; this is incorrect. She will only be obtainable upon clearing the last stage (14-23) of the main story chapter. However, difficulty does not matter as long as the main unlock objective (watch 14-23) is achieved, so new players can complete the chapter in the story environment instead.

Yes, the stage is unique that upon defeating Theresa's phase 2, the mission will automatically be cleared after 10 seconds without having to deal with the rest of the mobs.

Set your own rules on welfareknights and use any "characters who are given for free" because as far as I can read, the current rules are most likely created by a dented person.
You own the acc, you own your niche, you own your rules.
To enjoy the game is the goal of nicheknights anyways(at least for me)

If you think about it, every operator that is free to get either from event or story (not from reqruitment) IS a Welfare.

If I may ask, why don’t you just set the criteria for free operators on your channel if the only thing keeping you from using her is the fact that other players want to go for a different convention for what is welfare. I mean I understand the issue with calling it welfare only and using a different criteria from an arbitrary one that already exists but you could simply call it “freeknights” or something of the kind whenever you want to use some operators that by all means should count as welfare. Obviously I can’t speak for everyone but I really doubt your viewers would take issue with that.

I feel your pain. She should technically be allowed in Sarkaz Only as well (along with the robot), but the rule is fixed at zero ambiguity. Do I agree with it? Absolutely not, but I don't have the authority to change it and never will.
