I haven’t used my 5 star promotion + level vouchers yet, so should I use them on her when she comes to global? I haven’t had need to use it on any of the operators already on global (as I already have all of mine either at E2 or E1 level 35). Or is there some other upcoming 5 star besides her I should use the vouchers on instead?

I honestly expected for Scene to be here to hold some heaters active for phase 2 but that Pascala can make everyone survive 4 ice bombs is honestly more impressive

Its actually very interesting to see the progression of how the devs prevent people from brute forcing bosses, especially when it comes to HP threshold mechanics. With the earliest bosses, the second phase just happened when they hit 50% health, and you could blast right through that. After that they introduced the standard of having an invulnerability stage between 2 phases of the boss. Then bosses started having special attacks at certain HP thresholds that would punish you for chucking the bosses health too quickly. But with a boss like steam knight, you could completely skip stages where he would fly off screen and barrage your units by passing multiple HP thresholds before the attack started. And now we have bosses like Harold who gets invulnerability between phases AND at every HP threshold to guarantee that you have to deal with his nuke every single time P.S. Justice for playable Harold, they did our man dirty by turning him into a 5 star medic instead of a 6 star splash caster. Its probably because they already had Marcille in the pipeline and they didn't want two new 6 star splash casters, but he deserved better

Harold gives 800 arts damage global for one bomb. Become 3200 arts damage for 3 unlit heaters. Arts damage become 400x4 = 1600 when Pascala's skill activated (50% reduction and convert the rest of damage to bleed) Yeah, this is crazy. Without her, all ranged ops can instantly dead.

As someone who played with her quite a while in different gamemodes I think she's a decent 5star. Rather niche if course, but finding places where she outperforming or even just does the same as other snipers of this rarity is pretty fun, and watching her demolishing scary elites in seconds when everything lines up is very satisfying. Yes, in vast majority of situations drawback of the archetype is bigger than reward you getting for dealing with it, but it's very far from being unmanageable. Plus base effect of her module makes a big difference on how she feels, although you couldn't know about that a year ago ;d
