I agree!! I couldn’t put down the book but the movie felt slow to me, the relationships and character developments weren’t really there. Also Mr. Larson barely had a role in the movie. And Arthur’s character in the movie didn’t really sell me for what he ended up doing, in the book I could see the mental instability but not really the movie. Thank you for the review!

I’m glad it’s not just me-always a bit sad when that happens though isn’t it?!

I completely agree with your review. The book won me over with the character development of young TifAni. The movie felt so rushed, but I have to say I liked "the reason" for the ending of the movie better than "the reason" the book ended. If you catch my non-spoiler drift.

It's interesting what they did with the character isn't it? And yes I couldn't talk about that ending change-no spoilers!
