Love how the telescope immediately launched you to 2 billion
I had a run where I kept getting shining rag essences. I was not trying to do a diamond but, it was geologist and every ore I could find. The ores obviously gave diamonds and I realized they were getting BIG stacks from the essences. So I started keeping them and taking more rags and rusty gear essences. I reached e6x stack on some of them and dames and rusty gear and gold arrows.

Tip: you can get the old endless mode by holding F7 for at least 5 seconds. Whether it's preference or purely nostalgic it is a good QoL.

I can confirm that mods disable achievements. I had mods enabled when they released the 1.0 patch and didn't get some floor completions even though I've finished each floor

pretty much the essence token is a separate “currency” that are all “spent” whenever you pay a rent payment. when they are “spent” you choose an essence item per essence token spent. the essences normally give either a lot of coins fast or give large multipliers to make it so most builds can go infinite if you have good essences

It's curious how you play like making money matters when the rent is zero. If it were me I'd save up rusty gear essences and stuff until I have the end build since anything before that is kinda just a waste of time. Quite a lot of time.
