43:04 how are the dice a waste when they literally mean you roll 1 extra tile a turn the whole point of the game is to make distance and improving dice alot gives you loads of distance tiles wont be worth as much but youll have way more tiles. If you go all in on buffing tiles and not making progress your run dies from lack of energy

When you buy the dice face it is smarter to put it on the lower numbers unless you have a need for for super high numbers It increases the distance you can travel at minimum

Always good to redraw the plants every time, even if you come up with the same arrangement (Tomatoes could have nested inside one another). It was hard fought but great to watch.

Hey apq, dev here. Great video🎉 Played a decent amount of TFT myself, which inspired me

As someone who has cleared the second stage, heres some advice. 1. Poison tower is essentially the best tower for small fast mobs 2. You need to be thinking about how to form tiles (a 2x2 tower can get multiple boosts like ice,damage, and speed). I usually get the missile tower and convert it to ice. 3. Always get tiles from chests and from the shop 4. Use different types of damage so because fire lingering doesn't stack so combine poison and ice. 5. Think about how to turn the enemies from side to side in one compact area so all your towers are effective GOOD LUCK!

Really enjoyed the video. Just on the topic of this style of game. Where Stacklands popularized casual card based resource management the first game I know that leaned into this exact card mechanic was called Cultist Simulator (with their new game - Book of Hours). It is though much more complex and more rpg / narrative based game play using cards.

early on I think having both tiles guarantee at least 1 value is the best strategy to then start forming your synergy around the first artifact that you pick. also shop costs increases with every purchase just in case you didn't notice
