I know this is sacrilege here in Milwaukee, but Honda helped put a lot of young men, and women too, on motorcycles in the 1960s. Small motors, and a low price point. Develop a nationwide dealer network, and get the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, and the Hondells to sing Little Honda, and you've got an excellent marketing program.

Now it's different, there 's not the same spirit anymore. I had my first Honda in 1987 and it was a CBR 1000, then I had a Honda 750 VFR in 1992, then in 1994 a 900 RR and then finally I had another CBR 1000 in 1995 wich was my last Honda. So I allways had big Hondas never had a little 3 speed Honda.
This is a better version than the one by the Beach Boys, I think. My first motorcycle was a Honda CB 160 custom, a fun bike to drive and go anywhere, ' remember the saying..".You meet the nicest people on a Honda" Nancy Sinatra did commercials for Honda Motor cycles she was a very nice person and so was I. Still a very cool video. We'll forgive them. After a few engine rebuilds and valve adjustment and oil leaks; they'll learn.
Similar performance to a 1960s 3-Speed Honda Cub . . . but the Honda would just about come out on top.
