Nailed it. Alone with the high power weapon pk I recommend the modern weapon pack. It comes with three AR stilly rifles. 308, 223, and a 22lr all three are amazing. Kill more ducks, get all the bigger game animals down quicker, and the 223 is fun on coyote and fox. Have fun! Oh the fox pro call is a must for beginners.
@@dennispulliam1281 yeah, I think people can get away without the modern weapon pack, I own it it, it’s awesome! But someone that wants to drop 30ish dollars if they pick up the 4 I mentioned they will breeze through it! I’m already back to level 22 in no time!
On my last playthrough. I had around 7500 harvests and only around 80 diamonds. I had 16 tents placed on about 10 maps simultaneously. Basing DLC recommendations off of a couple story missions doesn't seem like a good call to me. A dog or a caller I'm honestly hardly ever going to use just doesn't seem as good value verses a weapon pack, tents or a map.
@@Hartwig870 I play console so Tents come standard for console players. This video was based on DLC’s outside of maps. Also, ATV’s come standard for all console players as well. The caller also saves a ton of cash $6000 per caller. Also, the ambusher pack has the lever action 44 which is one of the best weapons in the game with insane penetration. The bloodhound I’m surprised with your comment. I always use the blood hound even at level 60, it just makes it easier to stay on track and consistent. This video was meant for newer players or people starting over to make the early game more enjoyable and easy to hopefully have return players. Will I use continue to use the caller at level 60? Maybe not, I never used it before this reset, but I’ve been using it non stop and now I’m seeing ways I could use it going forward! Especially duck hunting now that it can call 2 animals at the same time. I find some weapons packs have overlap where if money is tight a few of them would do just fine as mentioned in the game. What are some DLC’s you can’t go without as I’m curious? I’m thinking on making a ranking of all non-map DLC’s! I appreciate the comment, I appreciate you watching the video! Thank you so much!
@@JBizHunts Free tents and ATVs defiantly changes things. I've never used the dogs in game, or really had issues with tracking. IRL dogs are illegal during big game hunting in my province, so so I find them a little immersion breaking. I guess they would be useful for a new player, but once they bought/unlocked more powerful weapons, and got more proficient with those weapons, the use case for dogs would dry up somewhat. The caller is deadly for migratory birds, and that .44 rifle is sort of insane. For a new player it would make a good choice, because of its bonkers, otherworldly performance. Its only downside is its range, but a new player should be avoided. I enjoy 300+ meter shooting, so I tend to leave it behind. As for DLC I can't go without... I was sick last week and decided it would be fun to reset my character's progress and maps. I got back to level 60 in about 4 days. What allowed me to level so quickly was the 300 AR and the 30-06 M1. I did sort of scum it. Jumping into multiplayer matches, and obliterating entire herds of buffalos/Yaks on Sundarpatan or clearing the coast of all salt water crocs/Banteng on Emerald Coast with the 300, 30-06 and 22 for everything else that crossed my path.
