- This footage was found at an antique market in Ajax, Ontario. This 400ft reel came with 7 other large reels with various footage from Toronto and other parts of Ontario and Canada. Some truly remarkable scenes. Look for more from this collection in the coming weeks.
There was no name or address associated with the film reels but the couple does make a few appearances on the films. I refer to this gentleman as the Sign Guy because he really put allot of effort into capturing as many signs as possible. A scene breakdown is listed below.

I know it's been a year since video posted but there is a lot of interest I would like to help you out but this video is so overwhelming because there's so much going on but I would like to just give you some highlights. New York city to much going on.. I skipped obvious.I Am a professional tourist 3.7 million mile 27 yr veteran trucker. I also am from Long Island, New York spend many days in New England. Many Bridge structures have been replaced and renamed. I had ideas where some structures were located because I realized he followed Old CT route 15 and Highway 1 in Maine.. Amazingly no footage of Mystic CT, or Newport Rhode Island. I do apologize any inaccuracies. Enjoy and learn..America is slowly changing after 64 yrs since this video.
10:56 is Boston. The Old John Hancock Building (built in 1947) is visible, along with the Longfellow Bridge with its salt and pepper shaker towers.
06.50 : the view is from the top of the ESB -not the Rockfeller building that we can see around 07.18
