So compared to the older 610M; it's 35 grams lighter, is a bit more low-profile so it'll dig less into the part of my palm between my middle and ring fingers, it lacks the wings, it lacks the RGB strips which I disable to save on a battery life anyway, it hasn't improved the extremely thin feet/pads at all, they removed the handy DPI switch behind the scroll wheel and has finally added buttons on the right side. I may buy it if it goes on a good sale or if my 610M gets too old.
Love the simple design. Do you think you have to go to the command center on all devices when you want to use it for both an office use and gaming use ?
Rubbish bluetooth for macbook, it works well as other bluetooth device. for x17 r2, I have to restart laptop after connection . If you close and open it, it disconnect even though the x17 says connected. Then, if i return to macbook, the saved connection cannot work, I have to reconnect again. It becomes a new device for previous computer after it connected to a new computer
just get mine today and i will send it back... I got a lot of input lag for some how, and the side button on the right of the mice a horrible i click them all the time and it´s annoying ass hell

I'm currently running with the AW959 mouse. It's amazing! I can only imagine what this mouse is like! A little small for my hand but otherwise a really nice Alienware mouse! I kinda wish they'd stayed with the design of the AW959 mouse. THAT is the perfect mouse, IMHO.

Came across this video, rocking a viper ultimate for a while now, would this one be better paired with an Alienware x15 r2? Or would the viper ultimate still be on the top in your opinion 🤔
I think the 610 is way more beautiful than 710.. it have a particular shape, it have more lights, it's more comfortable.. the only thing you don't have and you don't really need is the wi fi connection.. how you already said, for best performance you have to use the cable.. and I forgot to mention the 610 have 2 settings for the scrolling wheel wich I don't see in this one.. soo much better the 610
@@RyanYu I have big hands and legit the mouse I've been using is like a hp wired black mouse. legit like an office mouse. so litterally any mice would be better.
Just a Question: I got that mouse and mine makes a noticeable noise (but relatively quiet). Is it normal and I have do deal with it or is the mouse broken?
@@RyanYu sounds like a cheap China power adapter I do not really know how to say it but if all of them make these noises I can refund it instead of try a replacement first

610 is good too I personally like it better than the 720.

For me the bluetooth works okay, but the 2.4 ghz not so well. haha .

I just wish it was wireless. I can’t stand wireless mice. No matter what I do with my setup I always feel the impact of the wire dragging on my mouse.
