I had an idea for a solo survival challenge that I thought would be interesting. Survival Farm Flipping Challenge : your goal is to increase the value of your farm as much as possible within 5 in game years and then "move" farms to purchase a newer bigger farm. This would involve selling everything you own including the land and then moving to a new map. You have to purchase all the new land and equipment when you get to the new farm and the only money you have is the total of what you sold from your old farm. You can pick the starting farm but with the survival challenge rule set. The goal is to always grow the farm with each move and then repeat this for 3 farms to see how much you can grow the final farm value. This could be a long series or short depending on how many farms you want to create. It would be an incentive to utilize every month to the fullest when on each farm, including the possibility of contracts on your early farms or logging to get the value moving quickly. It will also allow you to showcase new maps, farming styles and equipment more easily as you will not be bogged down by 1 farm for 200 episode. Just an idea for if you are looking for new options. I would also love to hear if anyone else thinks this would be a fun challenge for Daggerwin or if you have ideas on how to make it better!
Great idea I have one idea tho the first map should be a map like no man’s land so you really start from nothing I might even try it by myself thanks for the idea mate
@@williamupward9023 Right. at the 12 minute mark Daggerwin is just now driving back to his farm with a combine, but Chainsaw is already cutting wood to load into the trailer he bought so he can start making money right away. Daggerwin needs to get down to business quicker.
Between this new series, and Court Farms, looking to be 2 really great new series starting. Hopefully they go for a long time, I'd love to see a really LONG series with big productions again! Good Luck Daggerwin!
i always love the promise of these empty maps: carve out your own farm and claim as much from the wilderness as you can, but i lack the commitment to do something like that myself. especially the "you start with almost nothing" setup
Every time I jump back into FS, I end up on either this map, or one of the empty forestry maps. It is the correct way to play these games, even though the crafted maps are neat and all.
I've been playing on this map in FS22 and you can sell all products in the base game at the sell point. With some, like wood, you have spot them on the pad and go to the building to activate the actual sale.
So happy for this series, I made a comment a couple months ago saying I would love to see a coop or challenge survival multiplayer, I doubt you saw it. THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY. keep the great videos coming
Could I suggest that landscaping by painting textures is made free? Personally I think that the building up a farm you want it to look appealing but in fs there's no benefit to putting down concrete or gravel, it takes money that is never repayed when the land is sold. Just my opinion.
One of your multi-player survivals you should have it where the vehicles have to be in your color. Make it more interesting and slight bit harder since not all things can be certain colors
you should probably cut all the trees down on your plot it gets you a lot of money(you can sell the wood at the place where you sell everything there is a button to click) there is also a mushroom and flower production with the map they are cheap and sell for quite a lot of money so that could be cool you could get the front 3 point linkage for the big tractor to have the mower on the front and the forage wagon on the back, also love this series already
I was so excited right up until he said u can still just sell and sell and sell silage :-( but I'm still gonna tune in! It's like a addiction u can't stop watching!
Very excited for this series. I also think a public vote on who did the best overall job would be amazing. The cash at the end doesnt tell the whole story of whos done the better job of keeping it interesting.
I love this idea!! I think after this series the next one should be also survival, maybe on the same map, but with 4 people and a set number of years! Keep it going!
OK, well it looks like I've just found my new Daggerwin series to get into since Vintage Survival just finished. Really looking forward to seeing how both yours and Chainsaw's farms progress over time.
On 8 November 1962 the company launched the MF35X, which had an increased power output and the additional "multi-power" system, which allowed the driver to shift up or down a gear ratio without using the clutch. Although production in England reached over 45,000 units the following year, it ceased in 1964, when it was succeeded by the Massey Ferguson 135. Over its eight-year production run, 388,382 units were produced. Many are still used today on small farms.
Should have everything enabled, stones, weeds, crop destruction ect... The best creative farm lay out, and the owned land between. So it would be more of a challange!!! Thank you for the great entertainment Dagg!!!
Hey Daggerwin, I love this series and I think it's headed in the right direction. Also, you can sell trees at the farmshop/store sell point. If you look at the small building next to the sellpoint there should be a blue marker that allows you to sell the wood on the sellpoint area. Anyways keep up the great work!
When you can, you should buy something to hold logs, a chainsaw, and the plot of land with the forest in it and cut those trees down and get a ton of money from that
Quality, my current favourite series, will also be following chainsaw from the start through this series to, I got into fs22 this year after watching your Calm Lands Survival and now have 350+ hours on that map, I think i'll try this map next, its so much better than pre made farms.
Daggerwin, just a piece of advice, use the mini map longitudinal/latitudinal coordinates for straight lines. Workers will always default to the closest/nearest 45 degrees iirc.
You can sell wood at the store there's an icon you click on at the door behind the sell point. Also don't forget to check on the discounted machinery from time to time could be beneficial.
I like this start. Almost feels like your handicapping Chainsaw (either way not a major handicap). Suits your creative style of trying different strategies!
I’m very excited for this series, however I feel like the rule for silage should be that your not allowed to use a all-in-one baler/wrapper. So you can either do loose in the pit or have a separate wrapper for bales. Good luck dag, I’m rooting for you in this one
I imagine it’s hard for you to win because you worry about making it interesting to much I think everybody would agree if it’s not as interesting as normal because you want to win that’s fine
Yeah he cares more about his videos than just winning like some do. He can lose every series but his videos will always be better than other guys by miles
Super excited for this series! The only thing that I wish was done differently this episode is getting the 2nd tractor you bought first with a higher spec, then you would’ve been able to get the bigger tow behind mower
Love first two episodes all so and the challenge with chainsaw is brilliant new idea put a nice challenge in game and also think the voting at end of game for best looking farm is a great idea
Don't forget you need a sprayer or something to put on herbicides and second application of fertilizer. You also should invest in a roller. Yes, you can sell wood at the shop.
Ok daggerwin when you baught the case 946 you should have put the frnt three point linckage because then you could have used it to mow and collect grass at the same time as always keep up the good work and so far really likeing the series
Good luck, I noticed you didn't activate the pit from vintage survival. Also, check for the medium tractors as well. Some are low price, about 150hp, with front loaders
You should have manual attach on as it makes it more realistic and you can sell the wood at that place by the store. But its up to you. Love the videos :)
Yeah, the second tractor and the silage pit would have been my choice. You could fill it, and still have enough to get your first crop in. Yes, the sell point will take trees. If you use the 'measure' mod, you can cut them to the length of your trailer will support to get the most money for your load. Length counts!
Great series but to make it more interesting should have added Precision farming, then also you could make more money based on how well you take care of your fields than it really is anyone chance of winning
Some tips from someone that plays this style of multiplayer for a while now: Never buy anything you didn't need right in the start, use the lease option and wait for sales. The harvester isn't need on the first day and you bought it on the full price!
I'd recommend a small windmill, like you had last time you were here, for passive income. Also, the forage wagon CAN be used to collect silage out of a pit (yes, it can completely clean the pit, i've done it)....so you don't technically NEED a front loader. Save your money....BE a cheap bastard 🤣
Cutting grass and doing silage may be boring, but it would have allowed you to make more money quicker, than buying a combine, drill, a plow, and planting a cereal crop! Half of the plot of land fermenting in a pit and sold the other half of grass as grass, would have allowed you to buy a better drill/ planter, plow, tractor, combine, header and a bigger wagon. You've hauled silage in a forage wagon before.
Multi-power on a Massey Ferguson is just an extra range/speed you can select in any gear (like a gear splitter) without touching the clutch. Ford had a similar thing called Dual Power.
love it cant wait for the next episode, have you thought about getting some greenhouse like the mushrroom and flower they are include in the map i used them we i played this map i made around 100k for making 6 of them 3 each
Love it. Watching this inspired me to go ahead and buy FS22 and try out No Man's Land myself. I did spend a bit on a normal map, but man. You and chainsaw make it look so easy lol
I think there should also be a vote on the better looking farm at the end, so it's about money and also need to pay attention to how the farm looks
Thats a very good idea!!
People's choice awards you say... interesting
That would make it more challenging
I agree😊
I like that idea a lot! I'd vote for that

@@Farmer_Elfacts, this is why chainsaw has won every series. But daggerwin has to make it more entertaining for videos, so he has to strike a balance

Part of the challenge should be who has the best looking farm layout by the end as well. Sheds , animals, tracks , hedges the lot .

Yes! This is the kind of competitive multiplayer series that needs to happen!

I love humble beginning type series like Survival Challenge, Really interesting to watch you build up the farm.
This looks to be a great series but i would love to see you two do a multiplayer series where you're working together than against each other
Could I suggest that landscaping by painting textures is made free? Personally I think that the building up a farm you want it to look appealing but in fs there's no benefit to putting down concrete or gravel, it takes money that is never repayed when the land is sold. Just my opinion.

One of your multi-player survivals you should have it where the vehicles have to be in your color. Make it more interesting and slight bit harder since not all things can be certain colors
Have a farm exclusively use 1 company for all the equipment
you should probably cut all the trees down on your plot it gets you a lot of money(you can sell the wood at the place where you sell everything there is a button to click) there is also a mushroom and flower production with the map they are cheap and sell for quite a lot of money so that could be cool you could get the front 3 point linkage for the big tractor to have the mower on the front and the forage wagon on the back, also love this series already

With no autoloading trailers and productions to increase the arable crops silage is not efficient until biogas plants are available.
Inspired me to start my own no man's land save looking forward to the rest of the series!!
Very excited for this series. I also think a public vote on who did the best overall job would be amazing. The cash at the end doesnt tell the whole story of whos done the better job of keeping it interesting.
It's not weird to buy a combine first. It's always the first thing I buy
makes sense to buy it first. better to have it now than need it but cant afford one
Don’t buy it. Lease it
I love this idea!! I think after this series the next one should be also survival, maybe on the same map, but with 4 people and a set number of years! Keep it going!

Didn't expect to see this so soon after the end of the last multiplayer series
Looking forward to the series as it allows you both to go in different directions.
BTW Chainsaw managed to sell wood without the sawmill.
This is going to be excellent. Hopefully you can both keep it going for a bit to get to the higher tiers of production and equipment.
I suggest to buy a greenhouse mushroom or flowers, collect all the stone from your fields and later on you can produce gold . Good luck.

My family farm owns a MF 35. It is a very nice putt-putt ride around tractor.
Great video

Realy looking forward to this one
Dagger you can use a conveyor belt for clearing the silage pit ... the £5000 conveyor can be good enough since your trailer is not that tall

Only bad thing about productions is when there are too many, it turns into pallet moving simulator.
True
super strength for pallets could be a good idea
@@stevenjones4295 it’s actually the worst thing possible for a channel based off of being immersive.
You can set it to automatically move/sell stuff so production turns into a slow acting sell point
