- In this video I show you guys how to use the free stock Limiter plug in that comes with Logic Pro X. Using a Limiter prevents your song from peaking and going into the red. I also show you guys how loud your track needs to be to be up to the industry standard volume level.

Massive help, takes me a while to wrap my head around all of these functions but this is a simple and clean walkthrough. The Loudness Meter side by side with the Limiter to see how much gain to use tip is a gem. Thank you!
this is by far the best tutorial on this, you saved my song! Also love that you move around slowly in the DAW so that we don't have to keep rewinding to see what you clicked! Too many other channels expect you to know where everything is already
Finally someone who explains things properly, practically and with a straight forward example. Cheers brother. Keep them coming 🙏🏻

yo appreciate the video was very helpful. one thing though for the future, the m and s in the loudness meter actually stands for momentary and short term signal levels and not mono and stereo

Duro gracias🎉
Thanks bro
thanks for your support
Thank you so much MixedbyAP! Your explanation is concise! By the way, I wonder what is the difference between the limiter and the compression? Because their function seems to be the same - i.e. setting a threshold on the dynamics. Thank you!
from my understanding a limiter allows you to gain volume without distorting whereas a compressor has certain distorting qualities which is why different compressors sound different. I BELIEVE. but dont qoute me on that. unless im right?
Please keep teaching you have something about you that makes it easy to just listen to you
thanks for your support! what else can I make videos on to help?
I got a question
What if the mix is already peaking would this help for the audio to not come out distorted or cut off ?
Salute.
Loudness meter plug-in and LUFS scale. M - Momentary loudness. S- Short term loudness. I - integrated loudness. This is not M = mono and S = stereo.
excellent video vato
thanks for your support
gracias por este video papito santo
Track fire boy, love the Spanish vibe
