How To Use A Limiter | Logic Pro X

In this video I show you guys how to use the free stock Limiter plug in that comes with Logic Pro X. Using a Limiter prevents your song from peaking and going into the red. I also show you guys how loud your track needs to be to be up to the industry standard volume level.

from my understanding a limiter allows you to gain volume without distorting whereas a compressor has certain distorting qualities which is why different compressors sound different. I BELIEVE. but dont qoute me on that. unless im right?

Loudness meter plug-in and LUFS scale. M - Momentary loudness. S- Short term loudness. I - integrated loudness. This is not M = mono and S = stereo.
