Awesome job again, Martin! I have to say that bow hunting a Cape Buffalo, isn't my cup of tea, but I give him credit for trying. I'm finding that Greg is a tough act to follow. His hunts were the most entertaining that I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Looking forward to more of your brilliant work--SOON!
Thanks Rich! Haha, yes Greg is a character for sure! I hope he comes to hunt this year. I agree, biw hunting a Buff is a challenge and I respect Mike for doing it. It was a great group, professional and fun. SOON? Haha I'm trying. There is a few more coming and I'll upload ASAP. Thanks for being a great supporter!
Glad you enjoyed it. We were looking hard for that Nyala, didn't really expect it so close. It worked out perfectly. Thanks for watching. Please share it wide!
soos altyd het ek weer die video baie baie geniet , paar mooi stuks wild af gehaal, ken nie genoeg se hoe lekker dit is om die videos te kyk nie , en lyk my julle het n lekker jag gehaat ,
It's been a bit slow over Christmas and New Years, but I'm back at work. Leaving on a hunt tomorrow, 3 x lions! I still have three edits left from last year, two will make it to RUclips, the Canada hunt will stay private, the client's request.
Excellent video Martin , as always!!!………. In the beginning that client was cranking the s@#t out of the crossbow, did he het it started! , lol, lol, lol
Haha yes he wound that thing up properly! It was a very cool hunt all the way, had a blast. He is coming back later this year, looking forward to it already.

Glad you enjoyed it Russel. I have to thank the hunter and the guide for making it a great video. Without them it's so much harder. Thanks again for watching!
On a wounded animal you take any shot you can get, slow it down to get it down. You can hit the spine, big calibers can penetrate to organs or at the very least you get a better blood trail. I hope to see you with us someday. Any plans to come to Africa?

Thanks Steven!! Let me know when you’re ready sir. Maartin is the one that makes us PH’s look good. All the credit to him for his amazing footage/work.
Awesome video man!! If you don’t mind me asking - I’ve been watching for a while now and I’m just very curious as to what happens to the meat after the hunts?
Thanks Eduan, I appreciate your support and your comment. The meat is all utilized in some way or form. Some is eaten in camp by the hunter and staff. Some are sold to butchers, a lot is donated to less fortunate or schools. Every now and then I get to take some home also 😁. Do you hunt also?
I also hunt yes - though I only started hunting back in 2020 so I’m still very new to the scene. I learn a lot from hunting through your videos that you post so thank you for sharing it!!
Is this a free hunting zone because those are precious animals. Are there no restrictions? How do you guys do it? Its fun to watch but was really curious to know as i watch all your videos as i am also interested in hunting ..
Thank you for watching and for your comment. Yes, there are restrictions. Some species have higher restrictions than others but all hunting is controlled by the relevant wildlife department. The aim is to use hunting as a conservation tool and increase wildlife numbers as a whole.
He agrees! I do believe it's explained in the video description, I'll go and check. Summary: The airline lost most of his luggage, including the quiver. We eventually found another to use.
I’ve been on a real African hunt in Zimbabwe-.....I took a old fashion muzzle loader.. on 2 million acres...wild and animals don’t let you walk around talking...they run at sound and site...especially buff and eland...when you feed buff daily their whole life they see you as support not a hunter...I’m not judging just saying it’s not for me...I spent 23 days in the bush 3 concessions 4 world records.. I wouldn’t take anything for the difficulty,20 miles a day walking tracking, like the turn of the century!
The reason for the buffalo being so spooky in the area you hunted might be due to them being under heavy pressure from poaching. I'm assuming you might be referring to the Omay. Even buffalo in some of the most remote areas of Tanzania are fairly calm and won't bolt if you break a twig from 100 yards away. That's because they're well protected. Wintershoek doesn't do any feeding of their animals far as I know. There are some supplementary salt licks and boreholes due to the game density, but that's it. The animals fend for themselves. In regards to four world records, that's pretty impressive. Do you know where they're listed so that I may take a look? Thanks
Seriously??? These hunters are dicing with death. Shooting a buffalo out in the open with a bow and arrow? No wonder this beast has killed more hunters than any other animal out there.
There really is a risk to what we do, it's all done by professionals and although accidents do happen, it's very seldom. I've been filming dangerous game hunts for 20 years now, only had one mauling by a lion, not bad at all.
Hi Jack. This is usually correct, but like we mentioned in the video most of the luggage was delayed on the flight from USA, and this included the quiver. Mike was very careful and made sure everyone knew about the open broadheads. We didn't have the time wait three or four days for it to be delivered. Thanks for watching and for your concern.
For another awesome (double) buffalo hunt: ruclips.net/video/ZusQxOy65dU/видео.html

Thanks Tinten, I appreciate the good words and the support!
I love your channel also, very inspiring.

Lekker martin
Dankie Dirkie, ek is bly jy het dit geniet!
Wow gun shot
Thanks for watching.
Great video 👍🏽
Thanks William, I appreciate your support.
My question is why did you shoot it in its arse?
Love the videos guys. Maybe one day I'll make it out.

I hope to see you with us someday. Any plans to come to Africa?
As he replied, on a wounded animal you hit it anywhere you can. That particular shot often hits the femoral artery and can break the hip
Yes sir. On a Buffalo you usually have two options on a wounded animal: Running away or on a full charge towards you. You take what you get...
Il faut vraiment être très cinglé pour se livrer à ce type de loisir !!!!!!!!!!

Yvan seems like a great ph and guy. Someone i'd like to hunt with
Yes sir, he's a solid guy, I'll follow him on any dangerous game hunt. Good human being all round.
Send Wintershoek an email, a hunt with them is only a flight away 😁

Yes the 375 is the best crossbow lol. Great work though.
😁. It was very enjoyable and it worked out great. Great experience. Thanks fir watching!
His arrows should be in a quiver. Thats very dangerous walking with loose arrows
He agrees! I do believe it's explained in the video description, I'll go and check. Summary: The airline lost most of his luggage, including the quiver. We eventually found another to use.

Breaking the cardinal rule, carrying broadhead arrows uncovered in your hands. A major error
Hi Jack.

Gotta stop calling it archery hunt when use a rifle
It still was very exciting, right? The hunter is coming back later this year, hopefully no rifles this time. Thanks for watching!
Neah, bow hunt is not for me. Don't like...
Definitely not for everyone, especially not on big game. Very controversial to say the least.
Misleading video, wasted my time.
Please explain why you say so.
