taking apart a year 2000 XR 125 dirtbike so I can repair the seized cylinder , repaint the frame and swing arm and give it all a general overhaul and tidy up.
Sorry, I didn't really film the repairs. I hit the piston with a block of wood to free it up then gave bore a hone. I cleaned up the piston with a wire brush and new rings. Water blasted then wire brushed the frame and brush painted. Every part that came off I wire brushed to clean, and put it all back together with grease.
Did you have any issue removing the swing arm pivot bolt? Mine WILL not move despite being able ot remove the nut and and the bolt turns fine. It just will not move horizontally
I use a twisted wire brush on a griner. Wear a face shield, though they throw needles off. I use fire black to help protect it, but you can buy proper, expensive paint

I didn't take it out sorry. Probably need to compress spring?

I tapped a screwdriver in to open up the spline then wriggled it off with a pry bar.
