I really REALLY hope we actually get some of these enemies in Tears of the Kingdom (Especially Poes, ReDeads, Darknuts!!) Fighting the same Bokoblins, Lizalfos, Moblins and Wizzrobes in every province over and over again got stale really quickly. The enemy variety in Breath of the Wild was super weak and one of the worst things about the game
I must have beaten this at least 20 times, hoarding the gold chu jelly and fairy tears until all my bottles were filled. Pretty much a 1 potion play through. Thank you magic armor!
Also, I have never seen darknots and airafoces manhandled like that before Heck, I didn’t even know you could use the boomerang on the ladder to stund them early to pull them in with the double clawshot and continuing to shield attack instead of doing the helm splitter
That's one of the toughest floors for sure. Magic Armor and knowing where the chilfos are both help, as you can see in my improved run of this: ruclips.net/video/6TpjheSlyQ8/видео.html
I looked this up just for the heck of it after watching one of my favorite let’s plays of this game. Wonder if the HD version could be better for optimizing since you have access to instant transformation via the gamepad and the stupid ruppee text box doesn’t show up every time you reset.
What terrifies me to this day are the Ice Spears. (Chilfos, I guess?) Those things remind me of Aimbot Skeletons from Minecraft and it's not even funny. 🙃
I've never played the Wii version, but as far as I know, Great Spin does the same damage on Wii and on GC. I've heard it's harder to chain spin attacks on Wii, though.
Just for practice for full game 100% runs where I need to get 800 or more rupees over the course of the cave. Rupees aren't needed for this IL. I theoretically could have saved time on the blue and yellow rupee text boxes by clearing them before starting the run, but it would be tedious to do that before every single attempt. It wouldn't have been possible to simply avoid all rupees for the entire cave.
God i love watching high level zelda gameplay, its so cool seeing how people use the many different items in each game during combat.

Lol
So, I've got some good new and some bad news.
we got collectible poes, gibdos, and phantom ganons. hope that's close enough for you man
This game has my favourite depiction of the Great Fairy, though the milfs from oot and botw are more iconic.
sick run GG
also nice strat with getting the 60 poe souls text on the last poe, funny little optimisation lol
Yep, had to make up for not bothering to clear blue and yellow rupee text before attempts
So this is why we have stamina bars now
Preeeetty much
soldier's broadsword with any high damage fuse attachment in TOTK is basically a great spin minus requiring full health

Wait so did they nerfed the Wii great Spin attack?

why do you pick up the rupees ?
