This is the best animation I've seen. I haven't seen anywhere near this level of performance on the Epic Market. How can I buy this movement and climbing animation?
Hey thanks! Actually it's already implemented, will upload a vid of that at somepoint, you can check out our other takedowns here. instagram.com/codebluegames/
You make awesome but make tutorial for beginner like me by this you can get more subscriber because you have having skill that can help like me and more beginner please make.
@@codebluegames5652 I know how you feel. I found that I can package small parts of code as components. And release them as is on patreon. With a disclaimer of no support and not beginner friendly. People buy them right up
@@comebackguy8892 we're making this one, we also have full-time jobs in the industry, doesn't leave much time..game dev isn't easy..if it were they wouldn't be asking for tutorials
@@codebluegames5652 Forgive my ignorance, I admit I don't know what you mean by "simulated tick". However, I wonder if this kind of implementation you have done is to improve performance
Why is it that in all these systems the character is reaching their hand when their is nothing there. I hope it's not cuz that's how it was done in a AAA game so it's being imitated cuz it always made the entire thing look subpar/uimmersive. Of it's something more technical then that makes sense. 10/10 work though. Will buy when I need a climbing system.
stellar animations flows incredibly well
Well done man! That's actually really good looking and seems like it functions beautifully. One of the best looking early climbing systems I've seen.

Thanks! Well it's either make games or make tutorials, can't do both and we're interested in making games.

@@Beyond-Studios That's a good approach
Do u use event tick?
No, a combination of simulated tick and timers
@@codebluegames5652 Forgive my ignorance, I admit I don't know what you mean by "simulated tick". However, I wonder if this kind of implementation you have done is to improve performance
It's input events with a ton of line/sphere traces I don't see why would he use tick in this
@@AlexFord-gp7by Because usually for any type of climbing system everyone uses tick and it is not the best for performance.
@@farcogrice well using tick in these type of systems is unprofessional, you can get the same result without touching the tick
How to buy it?

it's to let the player know what they can and cannot grab onto and when it is safe to press to button etc..visual cues go a long way.
Can you give me the project and I will be grateful to you ?
I'm sorry but no i can't do that
Tutorial... I need a tutoria
The animations look unrealistic but the system is nice
we weren't going to realism so thank you :D
