- Learning about the rich history and heritage of iconic American made knives can take us to many places. From battlefield to out into the field doing what needs to be done in the hands of those that purchased them. So reliable that they don't have a lifetime warranty but a legacy warranty that can be passed down through a family from generation to generation.
What does it take to go from raw materials to a brand new knife riding on your hip? Today we take a factory tour of the Buck knives facility in Post Falls Idaho. Eighteen years from El Cajon in San Diego county to Post Falls Buck Knives carries on a family tradition of faith and workmanship. Please do enjoy the tour and please see the links in the descriptions below.

That was an awesome video ‼️ Thank you... 🙏🏻✅💯
I've seen other video's on the Buck Factory floor, but yours is the best. Now that I have more or less collected the 100 series sheath knives. I have promised myself not to buy any more knives, of any brand. I have so many. Most are hanging on walls and shelves in my bedroom. So much money spent :) Ah well, I will break the habbit. Oh and not to worry, I will put out a video of my Buck knife collection and the Campmate 620. Take care and keep em sharp.
That’ll be worth seeing 👍🏼
They will be no longer machine stamping the blade tang, instead using shallow laser etching....bad move Buck!!! Collectors love the machine stamp.
Outstanding. I was there in July. Awesome place with great people. Seeing where and how your knives (I have dozens of Bucks) were made deepens your appreciation for them. Thanks for sharing your visit. Very well done.
Very true. History deepens the connection
I hope you go to the Bear & Son factory down in Jacksonville, Alabama.
Big Buck fan here, thanks for the tour. And a big thanks to the Buck staff for keeping these jobs here in America.
Agreed
Bear & Son in Alabama? I was based in Huntsville at Red stone arsenal.
@@haveaknifeday wow, yeah my dad worked for NASA at Redstone Arsenal, I grew up in Huntsville. Bear & Son is down in Jacksonville Alabama.
It was a pretty cool place to be based.
Cool tour! I got a greater appreciation for what goes into my buck knives and the price value 👍🏼
You are very welcome 🫡
Thanks for showing this. Compare this to the video on how the Khukuri house makes their knives!!
Also, louder than a C-130? But less than indirect fire ARTEP
The the de-burring room was very loud
You could at least change the title to *your
But it says “your.”
Just kidding, thank you for pointing it out.
@@haveaknifeday I hope I didn’t come off as harsh, I realized that it may not have sounded nice. Great video
@waholoopesorry74 many thanks for your thoughtfulness.
I'd bet this guy is hard to work with and unpleasant just to have to be around.
Who?
No I spent an afternoon with him and he was pleasant and knowledgeable. I had quite a few rare knives and he took me up stairs to show CJ.
I wish the mic worked better. He gives a great tour
