Awesome, and thanks for the link to the shoulders mod. I will be getting me some.
I live in Pennsylvania, so our weather is different even though I did it in the summertime.
But when I painted mine to bring out details, I sprayed black spray paint in sections. Just enough to get into the pits, crevices and grooves, then wiped the surface with a rag immediately. The paint stayed in the lower spots but wiped off the very surface but leaving a slight tint on the surface.
Yours still looks good though, and you always got to remember that people don’t get up close enough to see details.
And tell your HOA that it is never to early to put up a 12’ skelly............😂

Just a minor correction, the stock arms actually rotate a full 360 arc. It's briefly mentioned in the instructions. You're supposed to tighten the bolt down into the part of the socket that has the more complicated design, and then from there you can rotate the arm. If you look back to the mechanism you removed, you can see the teeth for the gearing. That's also why there is a spring involved. It's not as good as the replacement joint you installed, but if someone just wants better control over the arc then they don't need to buy that.

“I collect human skulls” a red flag for anyone outside the haunting community.

Could you elaborate on bypassing that button for the eyes, please? Great video!

if you use a timer you have to press the button to turn the lights on. splicing the wires inside the battery compartment bypasses the button so you can use a timer and the lights will come on automatically.

The first ones apparently were battery powered only. I just now got one so I’m just going down the rabbit hole of mods! It’s Skelly. Are you liking the shoulder joints? 😁
