What an AMAZING pocket Jim! And a great video. I felt like I was right there with you. Those were some special ones. Hope to see them all cleaned up🤞😁 Cheers
Awesome finds!! As a fellow rockhounder in WA, I wish I knew how to prospect places like you do. Thank you for taking us on this journey. Can't wait to hopefully see your finds all washed up.
Most interesting extraction video for a while! The gossan seemed decomposed just enough to loose grip on xtls yet make a delightful puzzle out of a shattered, healed, and recemented breccia. May I ask- what is the red mineral/substance near 6:50?
That’s a very good question that I wish I knew the answer to. I honestly wasn’t paying attention to that. The iron oxides and pyrite present at this location would to me indicate a strong possibility of it being some Fe mineral group. But yes, it’s more of a red color than a rust color. Jarosite? The next time we go there, I’ll have to take a sample and scrutinize it under the electric scope. As a side note, it would be interesting to see another extraction video on your channel 😄

Great to see a new video from you. Nice finds. It would be cool to see some cleaned up shots of those.
