Playing Alliance, we've watched Anduin grow up from a little boy to a man. This cinematic is probably one of the best scenes in Legion.
Anduin: What am I supposed to do now?
Varian: "What a king must do..."
We see Anduin go from kid to king, but those Goldshire kids haven't aged a day.
"You are unable to equip that item."
''What a king must do''
When he saved his father from a Twilight's Hammer assassin he was approximately 11 yrs. old. When he stood toe to toe against Garrosh he was about 13 - 14 yrs. old. Now he's carrying the weight of the crown, the Alliance and a world war on his shoulders. Any one that thinks this young man doesn't have balls is an idiot.
"This is where his father Fel."
"even here, at the Variand"
I love how they framed Anduin's face throughout the entire video from an angle so it looked softer, he looked younger and more like the boy king. But at that end part it looks him directly head on and he's got his father's sharper and more hard-lined face.
It seems like yesterday when he said "Have you seen my father?" Times flies by...
And thus Manduin was born!
Anduin just rerolled and bought a lvl 100 boost.
THIS IS WHERE HIS FATHER FEL
One of the really cool things was that I noticed was that whenever Varian used Shalamayne, it was always this really angry orange-red color, which matched Varian's personality. Anduin, however, re-ignites the blade with the color of the Light.
report this priest for using a sword
Simba, you are my son and the one true king. Remember who you are!
I like the fact that in the final shot, Anduin face and expression resembles almost his fathers.
this may be some on the best voice acting ive ever heard. the pain in his voice makes you feel his pain
We've seen this kid grow from standing next to Bolvar Fordragon in vanilla. For him trying to push his boundaries and explore in cataclysm. To him being a diplomat in Pandaria. He had the chance to poison Garrosh Hellscream with poisoned food in War Trials, and he refused! But now, we see him a rising king. It gives me goosebumps to think that some of us were with him since the very beginning, and have seen his rise. They say men with dreams to be a king, one should first be a man. But in Anduins case, he has almost grew up all on his own. May he follow in the legacy of Anduin Lothar (the lion of Azeroth.) Anduin, Varian, and his mother would be proud.
