  • This little scene is just one of the many reasons I absolutely love Baldur's Gate 3.
A chance encounter with someone that holds no larger significance to the overall events unfolding around you, other than just someone you can approach and talk to on a whim unravels into a small little personal story that's told and wrapped up in the space of 5 minutes yet sticks around with you hours after after you've moved on.
The attention to detail Larian put into breathing life into so many of the NPCs around you, even those you may not ever see again is just incredible.

It’s obvious the devs had love of what they do , the quality of the tune , the game just more proof AAA titles are being run by greed and not by a passion of making a fun game .

I don't think it's greed, but rather fear and just wanting to go with what's safe.
That alongside the fact that a lot of the developers in larger studios with big budgets have likely spent most of their professional career within a studio culture that is about playing it safe and sticking to what is proven. So it's really all they know.

@@Tiki832 That is certainly the case for plenty of studio's, but greed is unfortunately a thing and its obvious to see in many other game companies. Greed can accompany the fear and wanting to stick with what's safe, because they grow complacent as well. Knowing "safe" nets them something. Instead of taking risks that could net them bigger gains and reputation, but also could also fail. Loot boxes, season passes, paid items that should other be in the game, excessive DLC's, etc are all good indicators of a greedy mindset.
