    Love the whole idea of being out sketching. I tried it the other day from in the car and did not have enough room for my art supplies. I would really love it if you shared the detail of the board everything sits on. Did you make it? I’m thinking maybe an upside down sturdy box might work

    • @LizAckerley
      @LizAckerley  10 месяцев назад

      Yes being out drawing is great, in this video I didn’t have a board- I just clipped the palette to my sketchbook. I am going to be developing a whole series of drawings sharing my tips- I’ll include supplies and set up in that.

    I love your drawing! It is energetic with all the thin lines of the wires, and the colours help to bring more energy into the page. Beautiful! Funny, I have got out of the habit of making a series now and find it quite hard to get back into it.

    • @LizAckerley
      @LizAckerley  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you!- it was the energy and feel of the place that I was after so I’m thrilled you took that from the drawing. I think the word you use ‘habit’ is important. Whenever I come away from painting for a while, it becomes harder to get back into. The more we do of something, the more we can do. It’s like anything. There are several videos I’ve created on here about getting back to painting that might help. Here’s a recent one: ruclips.net/video/Gt7Bplr4wjA/видео.htmlsi=dnF42fDyOJD3t26f

      Hello!- I’m so glad that you enjoyed the video. I do think it’s important to sketch for the pleasure of it but can often get forgotten.
