    Video produced by Morpheyes Studio.
    Visual ID:
Two women are sitting on a green couch. Darian, on the left, is a white woman with brown hair and glasses. She is wearing black pants, a grey jacket, and a blue shirt underneath that reads TRU BIZ. Ren, on the right, is a white woman with brown hair. She is wearing grey pants and a black shirt that reads JUST SIGN IT. with an ILY hand shape underneath the text, angled to look like the Nike logo.
    Descriptive transcript:
Upbeat music fades in. The Morpheyes Studio logo appears: a black dot zooms out like a camera and sprouts “eyelashes” to appear like an eye. The words “MORPHEYES STUDIO” shoot out from the side, with AT NTID appearing underneath, and the “eye” blinks thrice. The screen fades into a black screen with the words “DEAF AND…” in a block-like font.
Darian and Ren appear sitting on the green couch. Ren is waving jazz hands and Darian playfully signing “slate.” Someone mostly offscreen has their hand stretched out in front of the camera, holding a phone with a slate app to show that this is “shot 4, take 4.” They leave frame to indicate the shot has begun and Ren claps.
    Ren: Hi! I’m Ren.
    Darian: And I’m Darian.
Ren: We are creative producers for Morpheyes Studio (Darian and Ren both sign “Morpheyes” in ASL -- pointing a finger to one eye then signing “envision”), here at NTID, the National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, NY.
The video cuts away to a different angle with heavy color desaturation showing Ren and Darian intensely trying to fingerspell M-O-R-P-H-E-Y-E-S with emphatic expressions.
Darian: Morpheyes was founded in 2019 because, well, there are so many Deaf people in Hollywood, right? Of course not. The access simply isn’t there. But rather than waiting around for opportunities, NTID creates them!
Ren: We are really excited about Morpheyes’ current project. It’s a docuseries called “Deaf and…” Which will focus on celebrating Deaf culture.
Cut to a still image of the “Deaf and…” poster, a hand signing the letter “D” on a green, textured background with little arrow and addition symbols. The doc title, “Deaf and… ReSIGNifying Deaf Culture,” is overlain.
Darian: For the documentary we will gather a group of brilliant Deaf professionals with expertise in various aspects of Deaf culture like language, art, history, etc. And we will record them as they have prompted discussions about Deafhood.
Ren: Usually in a documentary you will see just one person interact with the camera, but we want to showcase the true nature of ASL which comes through most in group conversations through interactions and banter.
Video cuts away again to a desaturated shot where Darian and Ren are playfully signing “BAP” back-and-forth to one another. “Bap” loosely translates in English to “I’ve one-upped you”
    Darian: BAP-me BAP-you BAP-me BAP-you!
    Ren: BAP-you!
    Darian: BAP-you!
    Cut back to normal coloring.
Ren: The goal in capturing group conversations is to incorporate as many different perspectives as possible.
Darian: Our team is also special because we’re all Deaf!
Ren: Oftentimes on set the only Deaf person present is the one on camera. Which means the directors, editors, and producers are all hearing.
Darian: And that means that the film was made with a hearing lens, which we don’t want for this. We Deaf people know ourselves, our language, and our culture. We won’t cut away in the middle of a sign!
    (Ren laughs)
Ren: This series will be about Deaf people made by Deaf people for Deaf people!
Darian: Where will we be going with this documentary?
Cut to a closer shot, desaturated once again to signify silliness.
    Ren: TO DEAF PEOPLE!
Darian: TO DEAF PEOPLE? BUT WHERE ARE THEY?
    Cut back to normal saturation.
Ren: When “Deaf And…” is complete, we plan to go to community events, festivals, and schools to screen the film to foster Deaf pride as we show Deaf Culture for the first time through a new Deaf lens.
Cut away again to a closer desaturated shot where Darian signs “Celebration!”
Ren: Only with your support can we produce and make “Deaf And…” successful, and if we do, we will finally be able to show the world ourselves from our own point of view.
    Darian: Hearing loss? No.
    Ren and Darian: DEAF GAIN
The words “DEAF GAIN” appear on screen and we fade to black. Then we see the final screen has an image of the Morpheyes logo, as well as the following social media symbols:
Vimeo, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and RUclips.
The text on screen reads: @MorpheyesStudio
