Hey Brandon! I just thought I’d let you know that YOU inspired me to learn more about prehospital trauma care in the last two years. I’ve already had USCG Advanced First Aid (15 years ago) and Red Cross advanced certifications and took it upon myself to read and watch videos on even more life saving techniques, such as wound packing and proper use chest seals. I will never get the on the job training that you’ve been baptized with, but if I had to pack a wound with finger or forceps, or burp a chest seal, I could. I have a fully stocked IFAK that stays in my car. You’ve done more good work than I think you’ll ever realize.
Isn’t that fantastic??? It’s a bit fanciful on my part but I really like the idea of this training being promoted more widely in western societies. A friend of mine told me they thought everybody should have a mandatory vocational training in school or directly after. EMT, driver, cook, something practical. Something that serves society, especially in times of crisis. It’s better to be prepared and never need I think
@@ukraine_tbic - absolutely. I was #2 in the rotation for CPR of a woman who collapsed in a grocery store back in May. I didn’t see what happened, all I knew was it was happening in the next isle over. Thank God #1 (a nurse) got her resuscitated. By the time medics arrived the young woman (40ish) was sitting up and talking. Everyone, EVERYONE, should learn CPR! You could save someone’s life one day! Just think how good that would make you feel, not to mention the friends and family of the stricken, and the stricken themselves.
The Boy Scouts do some basic first-aid training along the with expectation of oneself to give aid, not just filim on phone.

US public schools should require at a minimum First Aid and CPR certification as part of High School Health or Biology Classes! I think less people would be afraid if they understood basic things about how to save lives. It would be wonderful to have a population who is more prepared to help anyone in need! 💙🖖🏼🇺🇦🫡

Just came. Didn’t think about it. Thought I’d be a humanitarian. That lasted a week. Sam Newey it lasted two weeks. JB it lasted a year. We all went to the army. JB is in drones and poor Sam bought it a year ago in Bakhmut.

A small correction for you: "zbir" means " a process of gathering something". The verb "to gather" is "zbyraty" in Ukrainian.

Brandon, if you have a brain injury/issue and you aren’t getting eight hours of sleep every single night, you are throwing away half of your medicine. Your brain cannot heal without enough sleep. Please take care of yourself first.
That is so true. I have trouble sleeping over 6h and cogcognitive skills have deteriorated a lot in the recent 5 years. Forgeting names and what was I going to say. Oh, heart problems and something else.

Brandon, Tim Horton’s has went to sh!t since it was bought out by Argentina. Coffee gives everyone gut rot now. Crullers are also my favourite, if you can get them while they are fresh. Often too sugar(icing/liquid) coated now.
Objectively it was never great coffee(I’m sorry but I’m a man of the world). It’s just something comfortable from the past for me. 2 bucks for twenty timbits. Those were the days

I see and hear about so many people who are so creative and great at fixing or building things. The custom radio control aircraft people around the world sound like perfect people to help design new drones. How can Ukraine build working relationships with people like that?

Actually there's great food in America. Cajun, Texas bbq, pretty much anything from the South. The problem is importing foreign foods like Sushi, pizza and curry.

Such a broad term. Does anybody actually know what it is? I mean, can anyone say what nafo is or isn’t? It broadly means Ukraine supporter. I don’t personally don’t identify as NAFO but they seem cool to me

Your work is impressive and ya got some very big stones Mr. I'm in no position to do much more than moral support anymore being an old busted up 82nd Airborne paratrooper .That and a career of 40 years as an underground hard rock miner has me pretty much "stoped "out .

So you'd say on average, even with AFU significantly lagging in artillery fire and losing men to that, their meat assaults still cause more manpower losses? It's really important for that ratio to be high, like above 1 to 5, otherwise defense won't work in Ukraine's favour, given population size differences.
26:40 Jake Broe approach. That was also my thinking early 2023 how this W should have been handled. Especially after we found out it's too hard to break through the fortifications. And especially after pidars volunterily began throwing Z and equipment to be demilitarized. They will eventually run out of steam.
W means war. Pidars means men from rossija. Z as zombies. Had to replace those words to fool yt AI.
I suppose in that case AFU have to be able to hold on to important parts of their country (as in parts Putin really really wants) indefinitely, otherwise pidars might bow out after reaching bare minimum, then fortify - in which case they'll never weaken enough to be routed and run back to mother kacapia.
