    I love this! My great-great-grandmother had a lovely wedding ring which was made from red, white, yellow and green gold. It was made in sort of a lily pattern similar in shape to your blow out. It would be cool if you did one which also had the green gold in it.

    Okay....crazy suggestion here...try switching sides facing the canvas when you reach the halfway mark and your angle will be more the same and you would get a more uniform spread on your paint that way. It will be better I THINK!!

    Hi Molly. I am enjoying seeing everything you create. Question, if I may: is there any reason why you use the green stands under your canvas rather than using pushpins, to raise your canvas off the table? A practical reason or just a preference? Thank you.

    • @MOLLYSARTISTRY
      @MOLLYSARTISTRY  4 года назад

      I use very large canvases and the pins just don't stay. I like the stands because they are sturdy

    Never say your not going to do something, just do it, if it feels right to you, then go for it! Also never apologize for your creation, what you decide to do, because at the end of the day your the one who created it and put all of the love and passion into it! Also by the way I love the color combination! ❤️ most artists don't mind being called crazy, why... Because they chose to take a chance and break not bend the rules!

    I am contemplating doing a smaller, long thin painting on a black base, I quite liked the idea of just metallics, but I wasn’t sure if it would work, or if I could make it work. Having seen this, it is so beautiful, you have inspired me. I think I will be brave and give it a go and yes, I see fish too 😀.

    I'm only into painting in the last few weeks, so don't understand all the abbreviations and terminology yet. What is PM? None of our local stores have the GAC - 800 in stock. Can I use Gesso instead? Which Floetrol did you use, US or Aus? Since you only added water to your paints, where are the cells coming from? Do you ever use house paint for your pillow, or do you always use the acrylic paints? How do you determine the thickness of your paints for the different pours?

    • @MOLLYSARTISTRY
      @MOLLYSARTISTRY  2 года назад

      Oh my, lots of question, I will try to answer them all, but I recommend to just want more of my videos because it's difficult to answer all in a short text.
      PM - pouring medium
      I use Aus floetrol. Check out my video on Australian Floetrol vs. US Floetrol vs. Amsterdam Paint vs. Wood Conditioner: ruclips.net/video/fikCeGRxQAo/видео.html
      In most of my blow dryer techniques i use amsterdam brand acrylic paint and water, ratio of about 40% - 50% water.
      Check out my youtube channel, I have lots of free tutorials! Thanks!
      Here are a few:
      Check out my video on how I mix my paints for a paint and water painting: ruclips.net/video/xB2mNhmJ1A8/видео.html
      My acrylic pouring fluid art consistency tutorial: ruclips.net/video/yPn39pbreyA/видео.html
      I have gotten a lot of questions about the different pouring mediums i use and why. ruclips.net/video/J0Z6Z1AmrSc/видео.html
      My acrylic pouring fluid art consistency tutorial: ruclips.net/video/yPn39pbreyA/видео.html
      My cells are a reaction from the gloss medium in my paints plus australian floetrol.
      I mix the australian floetrol with amsterdam acrylic and then swipe it across
      Also, with very thin paints and adding a metallic. You can create cells like this from density or by mixing different brands of thin paint or adding a metallic. Each of the paint brands reacts differently. I like the effect of Amsterdam paints mixed with creative inspirations brand or soho brand metallics.

    I know this is is an older video, but I just did a dutch pour using a black base I painted the canvas black then the next day I poured black paint and used different colors to blow out it looked really nice but when it dried the black paint had ripples in it. Do you think my paint was too think?

    Question/ need a suggestion.. when I do my pores and I go to use my blow dryer, if it is on hot, it seems that my paint dries fast and starts to crust over. But I noticed when I pressed down the cooling button and use it it doesn’t do it. Any pointers on how to stop my paint from doing that?

      For a long time I used a revlon blow dryer, it is very old. I believe the wattage is 1875. I blow on low or cool mostly.
