I had the left over paints from my large black pour and wanted to do a diptych. I really like both paintings together and separately! On the last long canvas one, a few people said it looked like bacon. I cant unsee that now. hahahah. in the upcoming weeks i have a lot of cool stuff planned, abstract paintings, colander pours, nebulas and so much more! I cant wait, i have been so inspired lately!

PM: Floetrol, GAC 800 - for all other colors mixed 1 to 2 (paint to PM) with water for consistency.

Thank youI Karen! Permanent red, 1 dollop of black and then gold to make the color you want. I have done the same with phthalo blue, cad yellow, and gold and it makes a beautiful phthalo green metallic! I had a class today and the girl wanted colors I didn't have. It was actually a lot of fun mixing to get her desired colors. Felt like I was sherwin William's, mixing made to order colors hahaha

Like both. Definitely going to try this. Maybe use fluorescent blue plus other blues and metallics. Sapphire metallic. I’m excited. . Looks so much better when dry with all the cool cells. Very coolio!

I love them both, after you fiddled with it wow soooooo much better. I see alot of eye balls lol Yessssss sell them together, they go soooooo well together! I just did a colander pour that turned put to be a hot mess with a fish head in the middle, how I haven't got a clue lol so it's a do over for sure oh well that's how the cookie crumbles as Jim Carrey says in Bruce Almighty lol.

In this case, I like the white canvas. Colors are beautiful, but don't seem to show up as well on black.

They look great.
The white one looks like a firebird (phoenix) rising and the black like a firebird (phoenix) descending.
I'd like to see a piece with each color blown out as soon as it is spread out instead of waiting until all the colors are lain out.

The way I can see some sort of an evil zombie looking creature on the black side, and a weird wise ( I'm assuming lol) clown on the white side, this is insane I love it
-feels like I'm the only one seeing it that way but I'm glad I saw this, it makes me feel like I'm some genious knowing person ( which I'm not when it comes to painting )

Question, why do you put you blow dryer straight up n down n don’t slant?
It depends on the motion I want. The way I hold the dryer is to push the paints a certain way

What do I do (or not do) if I don't want any cells? I tried just Floetrol and a bit of water but still got cells. Anybody??
Add gloss medium instead of floetrol or use a liquitex PM and keep the paints thicker

Yes it does have base paint. They are sprinkler helmets from home depot

Its a great concept ... I'm not lovin them. The white is more visible. The black-wish could see shimmer. Of course - whos kidding themself? Me! - they are much better than anythg I can do! Lol

Hi Molly. Lovely work. Especially like the white one..What's the power of the dryer that you use? Mine is 1200 Watts.. although my paints are mixed thin they don't seem to move much with the hair dryer.

100% agree with Bowie fan Autumn by day and night they completely go together and yes keep as pair , sell as pair , don’t separate then no no no !!! They are just stunning leave them and I would give anything to see the varnished finish results dry wow !!! Love them molly !! Have you ever thought about doing the smaller version I think it’s like a 4 or 5 “ by 15” to give someone a opportunity to afford the smaller version that can’t afford the larger version of this type painting? And I would love to see it done also ?? You inspire so many people Molly showing them it can be done on the smaller version would be so inspiring to many more of your followers!! Ok you asked, I love the white and on the black, I’d take off the color hanging down the middle! Then it would look more like a pair. This was fun to watch. Pretty colors. 👍🎨❤️

The whit looks much better after you fixed it But I think I like the black better. Only because I like the way the colors bleed into the black. However, I really like how the colors stand out in the white. I would keep them as a pair
They go to gather perfectly I don’t know how I think it’s weird that you can paint two different canvases and get them together but you did it and they go perfectly together or not together I can’t say which one I like better because I like them both you did it again
