Coming from another Christian, that honestly sounds extraordinarily stupid. Judges who never marry also never have kids and get to have a better understanding of child development. That just means the judges will only be informed of processes that they know nothing about. A child is an unstable emotional ball of energy whose opinions are easily swayed by those around them. Judges who weigh in on things like education and domestic conflicts that involve custody disputes especially need a good understanding of the nearly inhuman amount of effort it takes to raise a newborn. To read about it is one thing, but to experience it is another.
