Jordan is so intelligent. She was denied education, freedom, love and respect, but still managed to make a plan and act it out on the tiny window of chance she had. It's impressive how she knew people wouldn't believe her, and you can see how much efford she needs to speak a language she was never taught properly, and the bravery of approaching an older man she doesn't know and put her heart out like this. I wish all the authorities made what this policeman did to protect her when kids finally have a chance to speak up.

I would be willing to bet if you listed all the words they didn't know most of them are words they need to describe their situation. They kept them strategically ignorant just as they kept them strategically afraid.

These children, including the adult children, should have been kept together, not separated. It was special circumstances ... so surely the County could have rented suitable accommodation, where welfare carers, and a main foster - style mother and father figure, could live in, while the children were medically assessed, and then were able to attend school and college. Surely with modern "Gofundme" money being raised the children would be able to buy a home. A tragic tale of the incompetent parents' casual repeated cruelties, actual torture being their sad sad norm. A happy childhood stolen.

  • @FLBeautyQueen

Understand. I was abused on a scale only a few know… I lived on a rural farm surrounded by a barbed wire, electric fence and gate to keep my mute sister & self inside. I was locked in a closet, drugged, tortured, starved, beaten with an old splintered park bench wood plank turned into a paddle containing sharp carved holes representing each age. After each board broke on my bare skin, they were hung up with dried blood on a wall like trophies. I was hogtied, smothered, ripped hair from scalp, forced child labor, left outside during hot Florida summers where I drank water from a hose, ate dog food & slept on pine needles filled with poison ivy/oak, animal feces smeared on clothes that I had stolen from different schools. I was forced to switched schools until denied school all together. After my monster mother gained back custody, she enrolled me in a homeschool program where I stayed in a locked room for years in complete isolation without any education. CPS was called multiple times but did nothing since my monster mother cleaned up my 6 year younger mute sister & I in church clothes & propped us in chairs next to her so no opportunity to ask for help. Once the neighbor once snuck me out to the Orange County police department (Orlando, FL) who laughed, said “go home” b/c they thought it was a joke. At that moment in life, I began praying every day for either myself or her to die.
My exit strategy: A family member secretly gave me an SAT prep book to study in the locked closet, took me to take the test, hand forged my HS transcripts & helped me enroll into a Christian college that helped my transition into the world. I had no idea that I was a legal adult at 18 because I’d been brainwashed to believe my abuser owned me for life. In my mind, I had to do whatever it took to stay in college for as long as possible or I’d be forced back to the “house of hell.”
After college graduation, I had a great job, car, apartment, friends, beautiful life and pseudonym (new name & life story) that was given to me by my modeling agency. I began to believe the false life story of my life, completely blacked out my real childhood and let my guard down. My monster mother slowly lured me back in through manipulation, gaslighting, & brainwashing all over again. I was trapped once again and no one could find me for 6 years. My jealous mother made false filings at the courthouse about me (which I didn’t find out until my final escape years later), forced me to take her drugs, hard physical free labor, commit crimes resulting in multiple arrests all for complete power & control over me. After escape, stalked, tracked down, kidnapped & forced to a new location where the abuse escalated until I ended up in a locked basement. My soon to be husband searched endlessly for me, had no idea I was pregnant & never found me since I had no way to contact for help. After my son’s birth, we were separated by my monster mother who always wanted a boy. I could hear my baby crying for me through the ceiling boards of the basement. He could hear me back suffering from injuries. I made a decision to do anything to save us, even if it killed me. I was unknowingly being poisoned for 8 months before my final escape. The doctors had never seen anyone so far gone & survive. I would have given up on life but knew my baby needed me.
My final escape lead me to an abuse center which by the Grace of God is rated #2 in the US. The abuse advocates, attorneys, police, courts, & doctors who initially thought I wouldn’t survive, all worked together for free to save us. I received an IFP & placed in the State Victim Protection Program. Surviving to thriving was my ultimate justice.

When you think you can imagine what might be the worst case scenario a child might be living in, think again! The evil some children experience is beyond imagination. These kids deserve the world’s help in order to recover and begin to lead ‘normal’ lives.

I am a firm believer in not being your neighbor's keeper.... But I often wonder how many houses like this are just around any block. There is a fine line... Up to a certain point. You never know, do you? I was involved peripherally in a situation a bit like this.... I just thought the kids from across the street were being curious. It was when they all started showing up for supper every night that I made the decision to call authorities. Turns out my neighbors were getting money to foster, only they weren't fostering. I will never forget the little boy... It was February and he was cold. All I had was this white, puffy faux designer womens' coat someone had given me. He was thankful for it. That experience tsught me that asking questions was the right thing to do.

I’m so glad what these evil ppl did didn’t break these kids and didn’t have them become the abuser. They are so strong and an inspiration for so many! I know they will do amazing things. Jordan was so brave to take that first step to get help and freedom!

Most Southern Californians will never forget this case. Especially if you were a homeschooling family. Those horrific "parents" put a bullseye on good parents backs'. Then the politicians took it as an opportunity to write even more draconian laws than we already had. Thankfully there was a unified voice that said "NO", "We will not be punished for the actions of others!!". Those Bills were quickly struck down.
Then to find out that the children were treated even worse by the State! How dare they think they could legislate more control over us when they couldn't control their own employees!
It's so wonderful to hear the older children are doing so much better. But we never hear about the younger children & how they're doing. I 🙏 they're doing well too & finally know what parental love is supposed to look & feel like.

I don't know if that is possible, but I hope so.

Wow. What amazing children..and I can’t believe the mother in her last statement, “I want our kids to know we’ll be ok”..STILL only thinking about themselves!! Not at all about what those children went through,or had to go through in the future..some ppl are sick. It’s like couples with huge families always have problems with SA, torture, keeping kids tied up,or restrained in some form, and of course all the mental and emotional abuse like buying brand new nice things for your kids, and never letting them have it. That, is disgusting. This was definitely a horror story, but I’m glad it has a better ending than most..praying for those kiddos! ❤❤❤❤

I just can't wrap my head around how parents could treat children this way. Also, even worse, is the welfare department. My mother fostered for years, and the children were treated like her own. They were loved and taken care of. So I have A LOT of trouble with the abusive homes kids have been placed in. So good to see the end with beautiful Jordan. I pray that she will be happy and whole. And Jennifer. She shows not hatred or animosity toward her parents. These girls are so special.

They could easily change the law to ensure inspection. My children were home educated to ensure they actually got a decent education. They've all gone on to get degrees and have good jobs. But where I live, we have inspectors, you have to show you're providing a suitable education.
