- The tills are ringing for money changers in Singapore. Some are enjoying 80 per cent more sales this festive season, as compared to last year, thanks to a bigger appetite for travel after the reopening of borders. CNA’s Alif Amsyar has more.

Changing your money at your homebase…especially if you have a fairly strong currency …is usually a pretty dumb move.
They don’t *need* your SGDs, so their rates to buy them will be poor .
Just take your money with you and exchange at your destination .
Looks like Singapore has a bunch of people who arent travel-savvy

Not only money changers but also the banks. Billions of us dollars and other currencies will start flowing in from one country. Singapore dollar will appreciate. Property prices will increase .

These money changers have been around how long in change alley. They can build an arcade it's still the same people for the past century. And frankly, they will survive anyway.
