This painting is starting off so beautiful. It inspires me too keep trying paint
I just wanted to say thank you! I started art almost a year ago, and because of you you’ve inspired me to try painting a few months ago! It’s very hard, but your videos make jt worth it
Yess!! That's awesome, thank you for sharing ❤️❤️
@@hambot of course!!! I love painting with you! Thanks for all that you do :)
WOW very well :) good luck
BEEN WAITING FOR THE DAY YOU'LL PAINT THAT SKETCH OMO, will definitely re-create this🤸
I hope you liked it, Krisei!
I love your gouache paintings. Thank you for posting your progress real time. I love to watch these
Wow!
listen, I love all your series but paiting over your sketches is my favourite
I've been having series of art blocks, esp now that I'm doing my degree, I get stressed w lots of assignments that I started to feel like I don't love making art anymore, but your video made me love it again. Can't wait to start getting into it again this semester break
I was so shocked when you started talking about the typhoon here in the Philippines. Your my new fav filipino artist
hi ham rib! just wanted to let you know i gathered courage to paint with gouache for the first time after watching this video & it turned out pretty decent considering it was my first time ever painting. i have been wanting to try gouache for a long time now but never had the courage to do it, your processes make it so simple!! thank you so much & stay healthy!! 🤍
This is so lovely. Thank you for sharing.
i love the way you paint
I just love her art style. It's so pretty.
Very Well Done ~
Your Hard Work And Dedciation ARE Obvious From Your Final Product ~
Love You And your Channel ~
I really love watching all your videos, it makes me too excited.
I love the colors of this painting.
Hey!!, Happy New Year 2022! 🎆🤩🤗
Malisse! Thank you so much for continuing to watch my videos 😭❤️❤️❤️ Happy New Year!!!
You're welcome, thanks to you for continuing to make amazing videos, I congratulate you, keep up the good work❤❤❤🌟🌟🌟
This is just so incredibly good 👌🏼👏🏼 I’m still very new in starting my creating journey, and I’m liking gouache very much thus far. These kind of videos are so incredibly helpful! ✨
I'm so glad this helped! Thank you for watching ❤️❤️❤️
I agree with it being hard to achieve some of the muted subtleties of skintones with Miya Gouache (or similar jelly cup gouaches). I mostly have been using them for studies (I really like the consistency of gouache, but too cheap to buy the good stuff) but sometimes I just give up trying to get the right color and go for approximations. It feels kind of like, one point it's too saturated and yet one single dab of grey and it's suddenly Too Grey. Might just be me not being that used to it, though, since as I've mentioned, I only use it when I do studies LOL
That said, I think there's also just value in having cheap art supplies where you can go "ah it's just cheap art supplies" and not care too much about how perfect everything has to come out.
You've done so well with those old cheap gouache, and you're just getting better now that you're painting with better paints! It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. I think one thing that's been piquing my interest is how thick the consistency of your paints is right off the bat. I really love the effect it has on the blending :'O
By the way, I've been meaning to ask. Do you usually paint these with the reference photos up on a screen? Not just this video, I mean :'o
HIIII IM ALSO FILIPINO AND I JUST DISCOVERED UR ART 😭😭❤️❤️
miss ma'am, you are inspiring. You are my inspiration.
Love your color work thanks for sharing
This is a beautiful sketch! 😍
I wish you would show how to draw digitally! You are very good at explaining stuff!!!♥️
I think it’s because the night is calm and at peace and no one expects anything from you that’s why it feels really good making art at night
agh i absolutely love your work. brava queen.
That looks so so so good omg
Awesome work need to try gouache someday.
Thanks for sharing. Great job.
Missed opportunity to say "HamRambles" 😄

Where did you study to paint and draw? Is it possible to start late and still be as good as you?
I taught myself but i think classes will 100% help. I only started painting a couple of years ago but I've been drawing for a long time
amazing painting ❤
Great video art as always ❤❤❤
好漂亮
WOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW
i rly like how to make a full sketch and paint for anya taylor joy character from the new mutants
you missed the white shine in the iris .
Inspiring
I thought I'm the only one who's struggling painting a portrait with miya gouache, huhuhuh how does some people perfected it tho
It takes so long to get used to, but you do eventually. I just meant that some paints make it easier, I hope you keep painting with it! ❤️
How did you pick your colours? Did you have a reference and chose from there, or was it something like instinct?? I have so much trouble choosing appropriate colours.... so you're such a huge inspiration for me 🥺
Ate Haaaaam! Been a while since I've watched a vid from you. Time to binge, methinks, but also EUGGGGHHHH I love how painterly this turned out to be. I am struggling SO HARD with the color shift with the Miya gouache hahaha TuT
Color shift is the same wirh holbein too but i think it's more drastic with watercolor paper. Thanks for watching, Selina! Miss you na❤️
