I'm fan of ZOA and OODA ; this dev knows his subject for sure! These UI are so clear and clean that I can see myself having great fun playing with these two new apps 👍🏻
No way I didn’t realize sketch audio was the same as audio Symmetric! I’m a definite fan of AS, happy to see he has a more stuff coming out. I’d love to win Phase Monkey!
Gr8 overview, .....the sound engine sounds great of both apps, i would have loved an internal sequencer...in both units to generate grooves, especial the drum synth , also to animate the parameters more, just like you were doing with the oscillators...extending oscillation via a sequencer. .
Although nothing groundbreaking is offered, these are still two really nice and somehow inspiring apps due to their simplicity. PD synths are not that common in the iOS world, I was once on the fence with ShockWave but didn't see the need. BlipBox would be a welcome and more flexible variant of Fractal Bits, but if you already have FAC Drumkit you get everything you need in this respect, and more. Thanks for the extended insights!

Monkey see, monkey do, monkey want.. bought the monkey..🤣 While watching your demo I just had to have Phase Monkey.. the sounds you were pulling out of this thing were fantastic.. also opened up Phase84 to remind me how cool phase distortion was.. still a great synth too.. Fave moments + features: The random panning per note with the spread control is crazy Love it! @14:10 The sounds when you modulated the pitch + shape with the envelope were so cool.. @15:26 Blip Box seems pretty cool too.. 16 separate sounds on 1 screen.. kinda combining my 2 faves for these kind of sounds - Fractal Bits + SKIIID.. would love to see a randomizer on this one.. The UI on both of these are definitely made for the touch environment of iDevices.. so easy to see + tweak.. this is what we need more of.. apps specifically made for our iPads/iPhones.. Well done! A few weeks ago, yes, the glitched out video less than 2 mins long, title something like ‘beta testing an app I really like’ - that one! That was a few Phase Monkeys
Any idea why Ryan started a new company? Is he still planning on developing apps with the old moniker? Hope those aren’t abandoned. I use Autopad and SDS-X all the time. Btw, thanks for the demo. The UI for these is awesome and a deep accessible PD synth is much needed on iOS. Phase84 isn’t updated often and Shockwave is only monophonic. Seems like the dev killed it so far, sounds great! (editing to say you can take me out of the running for the giveaway, I know I can’t resist waiting LOL so I’d rather it go to someone else that needs it)

There are a few - Shockwave by Kai Aras, but it is monophonic, and also one by Retronyms. Phase84 is the name I think?

Either way, I picked them up just now. Intro is only happening for a few days so I went ahead and took the dive. They seem great so far!
