I agree, the Loop is one of the best things about Tucson. And so is Mount Lemmon.

    People also ask
Are electric bikes allowed on Tucson loop?
E-bikes are not allowed on any part of the loop, except by users with disabilities. Additionally, the article stated that portions of the Loop within the city of Tucson were administered by the city. Pima County administers the entirety of the Loop.Jun 7, 2019

Ebikes are allowed. It does have to be pedal assist. Meaning it can't be throttle only.

Where did you get your eXp jersey? I am licensed with eXp here in Utah and love cycling as well and would totally wear one like that.

The problem with the Loop is that you aren't supposed to bring an electric bike and it's closed at night.
So it's basically just intended as a recreational facility rather than serious transportation asset. The city should start thinking that bikes can be sued as transportation and not just as a sport.

E-bikes ARE allowed on The Loop. Motorized bikes are NOT allowed. There are tons of E-bikes cruising The Loop.

What I've read is that the city allows e-bikes on their sections if the bike doesn't have a throttle, but those sections administered by the county don't allow any e-bikes, although enforcement may vary.

@@JustClaude13 yes e-bikes typically don't have a throttle but rather pedal assist.

I've never seen this enforced, I've also gone at night a couple hundred times probably. Just bring reflective gear and a headlamp

Was thinking about moving there but E-bikes are not allowed on loop..why are you putting out disinformation.

There are lots of people that ride b-bikes on The Loop. There are tons of signs along the loop that just say "No Motorized Vehicles". So I don't know that I am putting out disinformation. Just trying to do me best to educate people on The Loop not pretending I know everything.

I called a bike rental place and they said Ebikes are allowed on the loop. Please tell me if this is inaccurate. Can ebikes ride up to the top of A mountain or mt. Lemmon ?

Yawn. Bicycles should stay on it on off the roads.
