Can’t give enough praise to the casting directors. Last season with the incredible work in the age jumps. This season the castings paying off big time with some incredible performances

One of the best episodes of the show for me thus far
Agreed, it's one of the first times it actually felt like one cohesive story told mainly about characters we've come to know and care about.

Totally with Mallory on that final fight. Totally worked for me. I have no clue who was who and thought one part of him taking his life was to know that he would never be able to completely convince anyone of his true self. I found it truly compelling.

shoutout to CR's "Father, son, 'holey' dragon" comment about Daemon, Aemond, and Vhagar at the end there that flew right past everyone.
The amount of producers you have on this pod is impressive. It shows too. Great stuff.
by far my favorite episode of the show so far - the pacing of this season is so much more deliberate and immersive and it’s leaving me more invested in every character as a result
Cant believe b&c happend and the next episode making me more Anti-Team Green, Alicent and criston cole are the best PR Team black could ever need.

Rhaenyra is like the only character on this show that isn’t totally evil lol. And even with that it’s hard to root for her cuz she’s kind of a dumb ass

I strongly dislike the change they did to the B&C incident, HOWEVER they(the showrunners) did a great job with the twins. IMO the reason I consider the dance of dragons to be the best storyline in the history of ASOIAF is due to incidents like B&C or the twins fight. It was such a tragedy for the brothers to fight that a song was made for them called farewell my brother. So far B&C poor change might be the only outlier this season if all the great moments that are yet to come are treated like the battle of twins. And they are doing pretty good job of foreshadowing the seeds thus far as well.

Rubin and Robinson asked so many questions (that I was waiting to hear the answer to), and Ryan just hijacked the topic and started talking about an entirely different subject. On top of interrupting them so many times I lost count.

Cole is worse that Jofrey and Ramsey, they knew they were evil, cole pretends to be a good guy.

Nah I think Cole is better written, Ramsey was a 2 dimensional straight up evil person, just the worst, and Joffrey was insufferable. I like that Cole is a common born fighter climbing to whatever station he can get to, and sees himself as the good guy, very toxic and more interesting to me.

I think you guys were wrong. I was devastated by the Cargil twins scene was amazing. One of the best episodes of television this year.
they actually made me root for Otto Hightower, that's impressive, and we got more Rhaenyra, Mysaria, and Erryk, ❤ also liked Baela and Jace but hope it's not romantic 😅 fuck Criston Cole, wait no don't fuck him i meant... 😂

Cole does believe in merit. He said to Aemond, I understand what it is to toil for what others are freely given. He has a kinship with Aegon because he feels he hasn't gotten what he deserves.

This show is whack a mole for the “book reader” complaints. I have read f&b, but understand this is different. People want the show to stay faithful and also complain when they don’t expand enough. The twins are not major characters but they have this standout moment. Hard to find air time to make the audience care. I think Daeron should have been mentioned last season, seems like it should have been simple enough. It can be tricky to avoid the tell me exposition dialogue
Fire & Blood isn’t even a factual accounting of events and is written by like 3 different people.
I find it hard to care about most adaptation complaints at this point. The showrunners tell their version of the story and that's ok.
