  • I want to share with you some secrets of the trade, specifically what it's like to write a script for Angry Video Game Nerd episodes! I've been writing AVGN scripts since 2004 and figured you may want to know more about the process and the thought behind them, so I hope you enjoy this and maybe even find it useful.
    1:16 - TYPES OF EPISODES
    5:16 - WHAT’S FUNNY?

It's that episode you talked about Roger Corman, I realize the charm of AVGN is actually the spirit of guerilla filming. I learned film for a while and made some film, but never made something satisfying. I was taking it too seriously and expecting too much of it. The things I still enjoy watching is actually goofy stuff I filmed and edited for friends back then.

I love going on side tangents. They're one of my favorite forms of humor. They're great improv practice and they work the brains story telling muscles. My friend and I once jokingly called it "Going on a Sidequest" which I'd say is rather accurate.

@@Graf27green Yes, ones that may also have remakes or remasters made for the original game. James could get creative, jazz up old scripts.
