If dependable ung car mo "after sale" is the least you worry about. Bought my triton 5 months ago medyo kabado kac new gen expect sa mga glitch pero na sosolve naman ni mitsu mostly sa ibang user. If u have business at gusto mo walang sakit sa ulo ung travel mo from A to B mag trusted brand kana reasonable act. Kung may pera ka at gusto mo mag explore with high risk well its up to you.

Almost 4yrs na GCR sa Cebu. Battery palang napaltan after 2 years. Recently may naririnig akong squeaking sound kapag inaalog ko sasakyan from outside, parang nasa left side back suspension ang tunog parang kulang sa lubricant. Hindi ko pa nadala sa casa (Mandaue) para ipa tingin.
For the price, other competitors have released better-equipped models. Heck even the Yaris Cross has more tech. Geely paved the way for mass acceptance of Chinese cars in the Philippines but at this point they need to start electrifying their PH lineup, otherwise mapag iiwanan sila. no doubt maganda po talaga ang coolray being an owner myself. umabot na ng 35K kms. yung coolray ko bago ako binangga sa rear end sa SLEX. ang problema lang talaga dito eh ang after market sales. napaka lousy ng after sales nila... 4 months bago makarating mga parts nya. July 2024 ako binangga & until now, Oct. 2024 na wala parin. expected ko by Jan 2025 kona makukuha ulit car ko sa geely starosa laguna...napaka dumi na ng sasakyan ko at hindi man lang nilagyan ng plastic cover sana. madaming new cool features sa new coolray ngaun compared sa 2022 model ko kaya mahihikayat kang bumili neto. except sa fake hood vents...baduy at sa after market support. imagine USB port lang nag loko sa coolray ko, hindi nila malaman problema.
Ganun din naman sa mazda CX-5 ko (6mos nasa casa) pati honday city ng pinsan ko (5 months arrival ng parts, pero di nya iniwan sa casa until dumating parts)

There are actually lots of marketplace page to find parts. Its all around.. the old 3 cylinder is actually better coz its the direct upgraded derivative of the XC40 T4 engine. The 4 cylinder is the emgrands engine slapped with a turbo. Instrumented tests in russia shows the 3 cylinder is still faster than the 4 cylinder by a whisker.
80,000 units is a modest number. Toyota sells over 700,000 RAV4's PER YEAR. If 80,000 overwhelms the carmaker already, it has a massive logistical problem. It's not simply a matter of cannot keep up with the demand, but the lack of excess parts shooting down Geely's ability to cope with servicing demand. We had our 2021 Azkarra serviced for a radiator issue and it took them 4 months before they decided to just cannibalize an unsold Azkarra because we threatened the dealership with a lemon car lawsuit. Yan ang big challenge with Geely: they need to invest in redundantly flooding their dealerships with necessary parts, even PMS parts. Ang nangyayari antayan for a busted part to reach 5 incidences before they order in bulk. My hunch, kaya wala parin tayong bagong all-new Geely models up until now because they're dead focused on improving their current offerings. Which is a good thing. I'm glad they're now using a 24-year old Mitsubishi engine and turbocharging it. Not only is this 4-cylinder more reliable but it's also smoother. It's also a smart decision to avoid the 3-cylinder disaster. Volvos aren't known for reliability anyway. Safety sure. Reliability? Nope you gotta have deep pockets for Volvos, that's a known fact. Kaya rich people would rather buy BMWs or Mercedes which are as unreliable as Volvos but more prestigious.
Only in casa that the spare parts have a long waiting time for warranty. But if you order online with 3rd party parts sellers it only takes a few weeks or even just days for your parts to arrive.

Hello po, honda BRV onwer here, pero grabe panget ng after sales service ng honda cars carmona. Japanese brand pero in terms of after sales service ay wala ding pinagkaiba, nireklamo ko na din sa honda Philippines pero ang sabi lang ay stand alone ang mga casa nila, meeting wala silang say duon. That’s why i tried chinese car (chery though) and unit as well as after sales service is very much different, first class experience.
not other brand backward innovation and technology. some are adapted to emgrand and other updates on geely. wala man yung iba sa first release but still a win2x.
After watching geely users with a bad aftersales experience, that's the time I really doubted chinese brand. Imagine having no spareparts and your car is more than a month in the service center yet still not repaired.

Month sa casa? My Geely got hit with a Vios around September last year. The replacement parts, imported from China, together with the insurance claim and installation only took 10 days.
Well actually mas padded ang previous model sa dash. Mas madami soft materials. Mas maplastic to 2025. 3d view was and always in there since the 2019. The back seat is way more spacious then its competitors. except for the new territory. Not to metion the built in Dashcam and Side View assist. It has enough features even for advance techy drivers. Spareparts, there's a 3rd party. If you came from Japan brands na sanay bumili sa labas, then you have that choice na rin for Geely. If you value warranty, then CASA materials is still an issue. My GCR still at its peak tho, 33k ODO at 3 years. Everything is till STAC. So, I can say 2019 - 2022 model are a bit more durable than the 3rd releas. The newest release, time will tell. But it's way sportier in looks. But they should have retained the paddles
given sa aftersales and adas. ill give it to the emzoom. super ganda ng gcr no doubt pero at that price range wala paring adas + poor aftersales. yan big downside for me
Emzoom. Once you experience ADAS, adaptive cruise control, you can never go back. Mas better aftersales din ang GAC in general. Satisfied emzoom owner here
Maganda ang features, aesthetics and all pero durability is still CHINA. I owned this car for 3 years pero durability is still not in par with other brands. depreciation value is also one thing. Bottom line, ibebenta ko yung Coolray ko and I am now looking for a known brand na durable sa market. My suggestion is to not buy it now, give it a few years more to fix all the issues with the car and the management.
Mukhang magpapaalam na Geely sa pinas wala na gustong maging local distributor kaya nagtake over si Geely china. Nagkakabentahan na mga unit owners sa FB group. Goodluck!

madami spare parts na yan sa labas ang problema lang ay yung warranty syempre sayang naman ang warranty pag nag pagawa ka sa labas.

Emzoom. Once you experience ADAS, adaptive cruise control, you can never go back. Mas better aftersales din ang GAC in general. Satisfied emzoom owner here

Maganda ang features, aesthetics and all pero durability is still CHINA. I owned this car for 3 years pero durability is still not in par with other brands. depreciation value is also one thing. Bottom line, ibebenta ko yung Coolray ko and I am now looking for a known brand na durable sa market. My suggestion is to not buy it now, give it a few years more to fix all the issues with the car and the management.
