Because AUT isn't constant game with constant updates. You can see many aspects are either forgotten or ignored, for example the "revamped grind" system which didn't change since ABD. Devs just do what they want and we can't blame them, this game is a hobby for them
i think it's really cool that they actually spent a lot of production time on this but currently half the abilities in the game are star platinum. maybe think about finishing the game before adding the little polishes?

The problem (In my opinion) is that they focus a lot of staff specs and mythics rather then the unobs that haven't gotten anything special for MONTHS after the combat rework. its kinda sad imo but its how it'll be for awhile. Im hoping Dj,Noob,CQ,VKQ,Slegs,KCR and all the other stuff with not much sfx to get more overtime. especially noob and DJ.

it looks like a low effort spec to me, the cutscene is just him teleporting. prob took 1-2 hours of animating
