If you’re solo queuing ranked or have no coordination with your team, Kayo is absolutely one of the worst agents. However, if you have team coordination he is an absolutely amazing agent (which is why he’s so good in VCT and other coordinated matches). When people saying Kayo is a weak or low tier agent, they mean for people just playing ranked.
Straight up, I think the thing handicapping the playerbase (both people who play as Kayo and people who have a Kayo on theie team) is misunderstanding how to use his ult. Do it a bit early if they have ults like Breach, Harbor, Fade, or rip your ult as soon as you hear Jett, Raze, or Gekko use theirs to make them waste it. TLDR: You're a hell of a lot more likely to win the round if you use ult AFTER taking site, and denying their util makes it miserable on their end trying to recapture it.

You're wrong... If an agent with a damage util as ult such as Chamber, KAY/O can disable their ult just for a bit but that small bit is enough for you to find them. He can play lineups at post-plant He also has amazing flashes
hes not a real initiator like sova or skye who can use his drone or dog to find out players location on site and how many. kayo knife doesn't really give you that info and its the only info you can get with his util. he's like chamber were he's not a bad agent, he just doesn't do his job role and there much better picks like cypher/kj

From my Kay/o experience. He’s amazing in Iron to low gold. Falls somewhat short in high gold to low ascendant. But becomes excellent in Immortal to Radiant. And in pro play… 😏

@@LittleSak I was originally a kayo main when I started but was stuck in bronze, gave up and became a raze main and got to silver, went on hiatus and am a kayo main again, and stuck in bronze again.
They nerfed his pop flashes by lowering the flash and the time it takes to switch back to your gun, while buffing his long throw to make him more of a initiator instead of a duelist like the youtube Judgement tends to used Kayo as.
