My favorite thing about the bulldog is that its so strong against Iso specifically. A single ADS burst will not only get rid of his shield with the first shot, but also use the last two of the bullets to confirm the kill on him as well.
the issue with bulldog is that in a game like valorant ttk (time to kill) is incredibly important, which is why we see guns with one tap potential (sheriff, vandal, op, phantom, guardian) dwarf the bulldog in usage (also idk if its just me but the bulldog is god awful at spraying and transferring)
one important thing to notice is when the enemy is on eco, and if they are, you're outgunning your enemy and you're going to save 850 credits aka a full chamber HH and extra 50 for lunch lol
@@samoochi2172because no matter how good your aim is, fast CANNOT equate to instant. no matter how fast a ferrari goes, its never going to beat instant teleportation. its not a skill issue at hand. if two players of equal skill went up against each other with the vandal and bulldog, the vandal will win.

Finally found a video where someone plays the Bulldog! As someone who has been using the bulldog since ACT 1 Episode 1 (Yes. I'm old) I can say that it can infuriate your opponents when you land those sweet bursts with the alt fire and how versatile it is on a half buy. This thing allowed me to carry over credits to the next round to allow me to buy a Vandal or a Phantom Things I can recommend you doing with bulldog (If you don't mind me partaking my wisdom): 1. Alt Fire in long distance - Spraying people down was a mistake I would do and it wouldn't be as effective due to the Bulldog literally having a mode that allows you to ads at long ranges. So take advantage of that and who knows. You might tilt someone with the way you use the gun xD 2. Burst or 2 bullets per fire - You usually want to treat the Bulldog like how you treat a Phantom at times. Firing in bursts would allow you to easily get 150 damage (1 headshot and 1 body shot) or 230 damage (double headshot). Tapping can work but since it only does 115 damage per headshot, I don't really advise that 3. Try not to body shot as much as possible - I know this one is a no brainer since this is a tactical fps game but I want to emphasize that killing someone through body shots usually takes 4 to 5 shots in the body. So if you are only able to get 3 shots out , it would end up in 105. 4 shots would give you 140 which is nice for second round (since your enemies usually don't have shields or are buying light shields) but not really around 3rd to 4th round. That's pretty much what I remember during the time of writing this. If you want proof on how much I use it, You can check me out through valorant tracker! chanlee #wowow To see whether what I'm saying is legit for you! And remember, the alt fire mode of the Bulldog is really strong as you tried out on your video. Happy Playing Valorant! Have fun using the Bulldog out there!
the bulldog is decent for when you don't have the cash for a vandal, it allows for both guardian precision and aries spray and pray at times depending on what you need
overall the bulldog seems to be more of a situational weapon, in the right hands it can utterly dominate but in the wrong hands... well the results speak for themselves

bro after watching some of your videos you are literally one of the best valorant content creators, literally able to make anything funny, keep up the good work man!
I've always used the bulldog. It's basically a midpoint of the vandal and phoenix, having both of their weaknesses (no one shot, small mag, no silencer) while still being a strong rifle. It has 2 big issues though. Recoil beyond the 3rd bullet is all over the place, and it's a 5 shot kill against fully armored enemies (I think). This means it's best to always aim for the head. If you always hit the head it's just a cheap phantom. Also, the damage numbers are very strong against enemies with light armor, allowing one shot headshots and quicker bodyshot kills.
Dude, every time I see someone use a bulldog and NOT ADS, I get annoyed as hell. It’s got one hell of a kick with that ADS. Wins a good amount of fights.
I don't use ADS if, I am holding an angle that I will temporarily hold (Like walking through mid on ascent going A tree, I'll hold the mid before switching my attention and aim to the A Tree) and using ADS is just optional, I like it when it's not ADS, it has insanely good recoil control for a 2050 rifle, I would rather buy that with half shields rather than buy guardian or outlaw if I am duel/controller/initiator (exception for Jett)
Rly love the bulldog on Astra simply cuz of how expensive her full-util is now (600 credits), having a cheap and decent rifle is enough to get-by. Pair this with proper use of her suck and stuns or following-up from a trade makes up for the gun's inherent 1v1 disadvantage. Luv the vid btw, I'm subbing!
I was honestly expecting you to be more popular since your video quality is so good, and am incredibly surprised that you aren't more well-known. Great video!
Bulldog is great for ppl who don't know how to handle aim or recoil control. Good accuracy, steady moving accuracy, and a burst that can kill to the body. Just got valorant a week ago, it has helped significantly with learning recoil control and actually hitting bullets from mid range. (transferable skill between bulldog and stinger too, good budgeting practice)
I think agents with decay, vulnerability, or chip damage may be good with it as it increases the one-tap potential in the short range. Viper, ISO, clove, and Raze come to mind. Reyna and Brim may be able to somewhat mitigate the low fire rate with her ult and stim. At medium to long range, the ads is probably easier to hit with compared to guardian. So, while it's not as powerful it's a multirole rifle that can covers all range. Also it has more bullet than vandal means you can spray through smoke as well. Bulldog is really jack of all trades. I love to use it on round 2/3 and halfbuys over spectre. It is more expensive, but it can also shoot long range and actually have headshot potential with a bit over 118 damage as opponents might not buy armor compared to spectre's 78. It also works decently well against rifles so you're not really on a disadvantage on the next round.
I thought the bulldog was a pretty popular pick until now. I use it usually when i want a good gun, but i'm still saving just in case. Headshots with bulldog is kind of annoying, but when you get the hang of it, it's SUPEE satisfying honestly
i fw bulldog ive always loved burst weapons in games.i love how its not always a burst tho and its easy to control.only downside is not a one tap but besides that i love it
Bulldog is super good man, if i cant afford a vandal, i always go for it. In ads, it shoots 2 bullets in burst and extremely quick, so thats always sure to be double headshot (if ur aimin on the head ofc) and guarantee the kill. It also can go against vandals too, so its really good.
I use it a lot. Because I usually don't have money for the vandal since I keep needing to buy util to help my teammates. So it's either guardian or bulldog usually after round 3. I use guardian if someone is using Odin or something so I can just 1 tap them. But I would mostly use the bulldog because I can't aim that well unless I'm panicking. I play Neon, Fade, Deadlock and Clove. Vyse as well now. The main reason I keep using it is because it's a bullpup and I really like bullpups. The burst aim can make it kinda like 1 tapping people sometimes because 2 of the shots hit their head. But in general yeah, it sucks if you're not holding an angle.

I got my first real ace with the bulldog. I don’t think it’s all that bad. I sometimes find myself using it between smg and full buy rounds at the beginning of a half
See a lot of people when I started didn’t use it as much and that was 3 years ago

Bulldog is my best friend cuz i cant one tap and im so used to using FAMAS burst fire so i frag more people with bulldog headshots more than when i use phantom or vandal combined
i tap once, control the burst, microadjust then tap once again for another 3 bullets.
