Fish fertilizer, worm castings and mushroom compost will help revitalize your avocado. I also wouldn’t spray it with anything. The bees will definitely show up in that beautiful garden, no help needed. Hopefully your neighbors don’t spray pesticides or synthetics so you’ll have a great harvest in spring

I don’t think too many of my immediate neighbors do much gardening. Hopefully, this next season I’ll get an even bigger harvest. Thank you for visiting!

burgundy plum might produce better with a polliating partner..... maybe a pluerry or pluot that flowers at the same time but ripens at a different time for stretched out harvest

A pollinating partner would probably help. I’ve searched for a pluerry and pluot, but haven’t been able to find one that fruits in my growing zone. I viewer commented that I should try grafting another plum variety. That might turn out to be my best option. Thank you for your comment and for visiting!

Honey can be really bad for bees! They have microorganisms in them that the bee shouldn't consume from other hives! Maybe get some sweet almond plant (if they flower at the same time) or something that flowers when you need it. They really shouldn't carry already made honey to their hive. Lovely video tho!!

Great update! Thanks for referring me to this one. Do you sell cuttings?

Sorry, not set up for selling and I don’t have any cuttings at the moment. I planted all of the cuttings off the last time that I pruned them. In another season or two I may be able to get some more cuttings off these trees. Maybe then I’ll have some viable cuttings. Thank you for visiting!

Thanks for the update. I'm considering getting 1 or 2 jujube to put into containers in my front area.

They are a good addition. Easy to grow and they produce good tasting fruit. Thanks for visiting!

HI!!! first time I see your video, and love to being a subscriber, I love your back yard, and tropical fruit trees....do you have any finger lime seeds?... can I buy some from yours.... thanks

Thank you for visiting and subscribing! Your support is greatly appreciated. I have been trying to propagate my finger lime. So far all efforts have failed. I’m beginning to think that the variety I have is seedless. The spheres inside the finger lime are completely clear so they may not actually contain any seeds. I’ll keep trying. If I find a way to get them to sprout I’ll upload a video. Thank you for watching!

    hi 🤗
im in socal, zone 10 as well.
i have a few fruit trees - most in the clay/rock ground and one in a 15gal pot.
i like your honey/water spray idea. what's the ratio?
my dwarf orange tree (about 12-18") is in the ground, but hasnt grown an inch and no flowers for almost 2 years. several green, healthy leaves, but nothing else. ive dressed it w/citrus tree fertilizer 2-3x/yr, watered it pretty well ... but nothing. im thinking of transplanting it into a 15gal pot. any other recommendations? tfs

The honey water mixing ratio is 1 part honey to 3 parts water. It helps to heat up the honey when mixing, but be sure to allow it to cool down before spraying it on the flowers. As for the orange tree, I would test the drainage of your soil. You can do this by digging a small hole about 10 or 12 inches deep. Add some water to the hold and see how long it takes to drain. Ideally, it should drain rather quickly. Hopefully, it is not as bad as mine was which took days to drain. Best of luck.

Sorry, I’m not set up for giving tours. That’s something that may change in the future, but for now that’s not possible. I appreciate your interest and thank you for watching!
