I’ve had two therma tru doors fail both for the same reason.. swelling dut to water infiltration … both weee denied a warranty by Thermatru… no more wil I recommend them for my customers.
I bought one from lowes and found the craftmanship was bad. I use to install commercial store front and doors, by the hundreds so I knew it wasn't me, and was trying to figure out why I couldn't get the door plumbed up, finaly saw that the hinges were not installed correctly, crooked and not moved in to the right depth. also the frame at the top wehere it meet the side jamb had a staple coming through where they missed the head jamb. I didn't get the foam for the bottom to seal it. They must just slap them together for Lowes. not impressed. I'd never buy this brand again.
