with pinokio, doesnt work at all. Everything loaded ok but on execution of program, my computer froze completly. My computer screen turned completly dark, all my desks went out. Had to uninsstall pionokio and restart my computer

Both Dev and Schnell are free to use with comfyui and forge. It isn't censored but its training data means it understands very little about the naughtier stuff.

However, Stable Diffusion 1.5 has a massive library of models and LoRAs that will let you make anything, anywhere, anytime. Sites like CivitAI are absolutely full of what you need. 1.5 was "bad" not because the code was awful or the math was faulty but because the LLMs were trained on horrible data. If you were to take a clean copy of 1.5 and build your own LLM (not that I'm suggesting that any individual human attempt that because it costs about $350,000) the right way with good data, then 1.5 would run flawlessly.

Personally I find Flux much easier to use locally on Forge rather than Comfy - but to each their own.

It’s a dumb package. Ignore it. Hard to cleanup all this crap it installs that does NOt work.
