Three breathing patterns(from your leadin-3pt or stand or skip in starts)breathing in for 3 blow out 2, or blow out 2 breath in 3. Count 1,2,3,4,5, 7,8, every time you blow out, soon enough you could tell if you're at 40-50-60 or 70 metre. Lastly, Breathin and hold for 5 steps, blow out for 3, count 1,2,3,4,5 everytime you blowout, you could end up at 32 steps, or 40, 48. And you didn't even measure. It'll be because you've mindlessly breathed like that while stepping down. The 5 in 3 out method would segway nicely after warming up with the first 2, where you're getting more air but still warming up.

Do you ever perform special endurance training ; specifically referring to 400m training like 350's or 250's. Ive always felt like the strength carried over well to shorter sprints.

Yeah you recover well in between sprints and the power output is also improved after practicing this kind of training.
I personally do 8x300 @70-75% effort with just 60-105 sec rest in between and it really helps a lot !

@@sanki7087 8x300 doesn't look like a 100/200m workout. That's wayyyy too much for short sprints

Well . I think my back is so weak . What should I do about it ?
My workout is - ( 2-4 miles running with kind of fast speed ) . Then i do 6-10 Hills 80-100m running.
What should I add or else remove to make it better ? Btw I'm 400m runner

Awesome! If endurance is equal, the faster marathoner will have a better chance. Keep up the great work
