If your i751 is pending, consider applying for n400. I did the same and both cases got approved.

Same here. Did the combo interview too and was approved (my husband was the immigrant). The I 751 takes forever.......best to apply to N400 while waiting.

Always consider applying for N400. Don’t sue and waste your money if your case is straight forward.

It's like USCIS' goal is to get sued. These delays are ridiculous,

When they interview you for the first time for 485 and they have verified what they need what is the point of delaying things. I think it is a way to deny deny. What if couple gets divorced or spouse dies - you are again in limbo.

Hi, thx a lot for these videos! I have paid for and had my biometric fingerprints taken before the temporary green card. Should I pay again for biometrics for the i-751? Also, the USCIS website recommends paying the filing fee and biometrics with separate checks, from my understanding. What do you recommend from your experience? I'm filing the i-751. Thx in advance.

I wonder if it makes sense to wait for 48 extension letter and then file N-400 in case an officer can’t approve both at a naturalization interview. My i-751 has been pending for over 14 months now.

    Hi Jim
Question for you. My wife entered the states on a spousal visa and she has a conditional green card. On the fourth day of her being here, she wanted a divorce. All signs now that I look back, point to marriage fraud. The thing is I’m not a disgruntled spouse, I made a mistake in marrying her and I blame for dismissing the reg flags. Im all for being in the green light and helping her remove conditions. I’m not a vengeful person or like to hold grudges. My main concern is the i864 that I signed. I’m afraid she will find a loophole and remain unemployed and sue me for financial support. In that case I will have to remain in the red light as you say. My question is , how likely is it that she gets her i751 approved ? She has no supporting evidence of a bona fide marriage since her arrival. No joint bank accounts or taxes. No pictures. The only thing is we are both on our rental lease.
Where can I learn about the outcome of similar situations?

Hello!! I'm tryin to pay the fee for my I-751, we tried paying with credit card but our bank keeps blocking it. We don't have personal checks because we have never needed them. Due to some updates the Chicago office no longer accepts money orders. Can we pay the fee with a check that is not under my name or my spouses? We are in hurry to get the paperwork in before my greencard expires!
