    I'll never forget my first time trying on the ultraboost 1.0 in a store and it was the first shoe i tried with boost midfoam. changed my life. it was honestly so expensive and i couldn't imaging buying a shoe so expensive but eventually my parents agreed to buying a pair for my bday (i was like 15 yrs old) and it was the coolest thing ive owned

      It is amazing how things have changed. The original Ultraboost brought with it a revolution in the running industry, and it still feel just as comfortable now as it did those years ago.

      @@RunningXpert yesss 100% agree. I dont use them for running anymore but they are still awesome for walking and just casual wear

    I got my Ultraboost Light with near 20Km( half from running) so far and my first impressions is that it is a totally different shoe from the amazing comfortable Ultraboost 22 . Now this Light has less cushioning confort , less bounce, less stability ( because the LEP is smaller to save weight) and the Primeknit should be called now : PlasticKnit .
    If I consider the Ultraboost Light no longer a super comfortable high cushioning shoe, then it is OK. It can compete with the Pegasus 39 and have similar feel of the Adizero SL. But I preffered the Adizero SL even for walking, more comfortable upper and middlesole !
    Now lets looks the PRICE of this Ultraboost Light ... I totally regret buying it over a Gel-Nimbus 25, NB 1080/More . This new Ultraboost would be OK if it cost the same 120 dollars of a Pegasus . But for 190 ... gimme my Ultraboost 22 back! Even if it was heavier, it was much more fun to run using it. Was a huge pleasure of running with the confort it had with the nice upper, middlesole and stability.

      i was having the same dilemma in choosing Light boost over Pegasus 39. Yes the Pegasus 39 foam is faster, but the durability and stability trade off is an issue. Then i would consider vaporfly 2, then again reliability and stability come to my attention again. So, I am back using Ultraboost light as my daily trainer. sometimes is not about time and performance. Take Hoka Tecton-X, i feel stress running on them but the time is far better than running on Ultraboost 21. but running on UB 21 makes me happier and comfortable.

    I ran my first 5k in UBs. To this day, I run the Boost shoes. I don’t mind the weight, I love the cushioning.

    The shoe looks nice, but has veered off from being a running shoe. Get rid of the excess boost in the heel area. Increase the stack height in the forefoot area a bit. Reduce the weight a bit. All this 'marketing speak' is not translating into the running experience when it comes to the ultraboost line lately. I hope things will change for better.

    Two things they need to do. Get rid of the pellet look on a finished shoe and wrap or stain proof the foam. Bit softer would be great too. Lighter was definitely needed.

    Ran in Boost since day 1 and I still love it! Ultraboost is my go to running shoe, just a great option. Bought the new Ultraboost light, can't wait to run in them! They just keep on getting better and better 😍

      true. i transitioned from ultraboost 21 to hoka tectone x and moved back quickly to ultraboost light. the bounciness and comfort is non matchable in the industry.

    Why is ultraboost 23 so slippery even in light wet conditions?

  • @albertteng1191
    @albertteng1191 Год назад

    Tried this at a store, its light yes but dense so not as cushioned as before. It's described as lightest boost midsole, true but not light enough. I dunno why they cant get rid of those bulking boost in the heel area, it serves no purpose at all. I wish adidas could re-formulate boost to something like what saucony did with their powerrun plus and powerrun pb. They are also TPU based pellets and all and yet ultra light and very bouncy and cushy

    Been away from all this due to the earthquakes in Turkiye (more about it in my playlists).
    Now back, but the question is can you run in it, high tempo runs?

    the ultraboost foam is distinctively better. Compare any shoes below $150 to a Ultraboost 21/22 $200 shoe. u can tell Ultraboost foam is better. the only industry foam that come close is Nike Zoom X. Hoka, NB, Saucony, Reebok foam are all pathetic!
