I've tried getting into production but I keep running into the wall that is the new t2 material requirements. Literally feels impossible for a mostly solo player. Also how do you have do many manufacturing job slots???
For T2 production it can be good to produce 1-2 mats if you are solo, then set up buy orders in major trade hubs to collect the rest over time - this makes sure you can get the materials cheaper than the sell value and will usually end up with a product that is worth more than you paid for the components, making you a profit

The title is abit misleading coz basic production has been utterly destroyed by mysterious and very expensive materials, that has been added to even the most simple production. This means that i and many others have had to halt any production lines that includes these new and snowflaky materials. It has become really bad and the ice price is also through the floor reflecting that ice materials are not in high demand anymore. So CCP, pretty plz with sugar on top fix the production back to what it was...
don't worry, they made more than 13 critical errors that'll confuse the hell outta n00bs and make them think going to join a null sec blob is the best thing evar.
I would recommend AGAINST finding Raitarus in high sec to do industry in, with cores being higher in value than the structure and required to operate the structure, they are just giant loot pinatas for war dec corps...all you will do is put yourself in a position where you have to move all your blueprints or worse cancel jobs in research or manufacturing in order to get your stuff out safely. You are at the mercy of the structure owner keeping up fueling...just not worth it for the increased stats they give, better off just finding a NPC station instead and using that.
oh, that's not even the start of it. there's over a baker's dozen mistakes including...get this: at one point they actually have the copying column ordered to show maximum system index first, i shit you not

Mining isn't industry. Same as you don't need to do combat to be salvager or do market PvP to haul stuff around. Yes, mining is necessary to be able to produce stuff but both activates can be done independent from each other. There is missive amount of industry moguls that never touched rocks in space. Or people with massive mining fleets that only sell resources they collect. Also, worth noting that even with very small scale industry operation. You will use way more resources than you can mine by yourslef.
DO NOT GET INTO INDY UNLESS YOU HAVE BOTH INGAME AND REAL-WORLD MONEY. indy is not for new players and you'll not make a profit out of it unless you have really good skills and cheap access to materials such as a buyback service

how do you input the mats into the job?
16 manufacturing lines? that's illegal.

How does one get more than 11 manufacturing slotson a single character?
can’t

@Shoob I agree on that. But not alot of newbros know about Indy being a thing. So this helps them see that it's an actual thing.
The npe and the career agents already push mining and indy enough, newbros don't find out about higher paying activities and end up quitting.
